Prophetic dream (and yet there really was nothing I could use it for)

Last week I had a brief dream, in which on myself I saw a huge wound - not bleeding but dried up, and reddish brown - and it startled me. The only thought in my mind was: how could such a thing possibly have happened to me? :panic: And very rapidly I woke up.

But very quickly again I fell asleep and thought nothing of this again - until two mornings later, when I woke up and discovered a huge cluster of blisters on my back. This turned out to be the shingles.

I can't say that I wasn't warned. But of course there was nothing I could do about it.

Really interesting though (at least from my perspective), and it certainly has re-ignited my interest in communicating with my own unconscious during sleep.
