im not asking it to happen persay.. I more or less need to know what I need to do to enhance my spiritual awareness... maybe im a closed gate or something...

Just posting for some help because I cant figure out what my spiritual problems are. 3. Use a ouija but dont experience anything like stories ive ever heard.. my experiences seem to be mild to nothing compared to others.

4. End up falling asleep while trying to get to AP state.

5. Keep trying to find the rationalization to spiritual things but know I shouldnt be seeing it in an analytical thought form.

6. Im often tired even with a good nights rest.

those are my problems.... now I can do a few things but dont know if they are naturally seen by most people or its just me

3. I can visualize fairly well.. I can imagine a gnome running across the room and visualize the details of him pretty well in occordance to the room. sorta like a dreamlike character dropped into the world.

Have you ever tried to WILD? That might help w/#s 1 & 4. As for #2, I don't know, but I think that it is rare to see that within any person.
What's an Ouija? And I don't know if you can do #5, b/c as far as I know, only my friend who has 4d sight can do that....
#6 is very simple.....how much sleep have you gotten at night, & how long do you have REM?
As for the things you do see:
1) I think that is called an aura, or something....they usually cannot be seen, but there are some exceptions, like if you have really good eyesight (4d sight), or if you have pretty decent eyesight, then someone hands you a pair of 3d glasses.
2) That is movement....& I have seen that b4 too. Usually it happens just as you are starring off into space.
3) That is called imagination....you must have pretty good imagination too! Clear your eyes, & see if it is still there, & if it is, it is time to claim Lucidity!

None of the "supernatural" events have ever been demonstrated to my satisfaction. Not a single person that brags about doing it has ever been able to in front of any independant observer.

Conclusion? You have to delude yourself into believing you're doing it - but it doesn't actually occur anywhere outside of ones own mind.

kimpossible: Experience it for yourself...that's what I did. BTW, your setting yourself up to fail though because you are going about it with the complete wrong attitude.

genetic: All you need to do is to know how to ask for it. Keeping an open mind is the first step, but honestly feeling yourself as having psychic abilities is good enough.

Here's my story:
Something inside of me always told me maybe there was something more to the X-files, et cetera. It's been almost a year since something activated in me. One night I saw a flash of light that looked like a girl's face...That's what started it...

Since then:
I can ask them questions, but I have no idea if they are lying or not. More importantly, it's easier for me to hear my intuition or inner voice. On one occasion, I swear I was reading my twin's mind because he blurted out two "what if" ideas that had just popped into my head less than a second before.

What I see is getting stronger. If I squeeze my eyes shut tight, or push my thumbs/palms into my eyes I start to see a pattern then after I release it stays there and fades away at a constant pace. I can see faster too. Remember when we used to put the pencil between the middle fingers, and move the fingers up and down to make the pencil look really rubbery? I actually see two or three pencils when this happens, it's like a lagging mouse pointer. Also, at night when the lights are out I can be staring up at a black ceiling and start to see colors, mainly green red and purple. These forms are similar to when I exert a force on my eyes. If it's dark when I poke myself in the eye, I can see where the finger is imprinting on the eyeball...I can see an outline of the fingertip. I've also seen the air become wavy, like it's a blanket stretched taut, and waves are propagating across it. I've seen spirals all these other things too. I see the negative images when I close my eyes really fast, I see tables and desks "detuning". I am also seeing colorless auras too. I did see a really weird looking person with sort of an X shaped head, but I'll leave that one out because I'm really not too sure what that was .

I've heard little children running around playfully, and looked out my window to see no children in the street.

I've been laying on my bed going to sleep when all of a sudden I smell a strong perfume for one or two inhales, then it goes away again.

But most importantly, I've been able to feel these ghosts/spirits the entire time.

I've also gone out of body, had lucid dreams, had one remote viewing where I saw myself for a split second then snapped right back to my physical body.

So it is entirely possible. Be patient and stick with it. It will come, don't force anything. Let the cards fall into their place.

pushing against your eyeballs until you can see colors cant be good for your eyes

you should be able to see stuff without putting your eyes through some trauma...

LoL well actually I think I need to get passed some emotional and mental barriers before I can AP. I fear the dark yet I pursue it... I dont understand myself sometimes... It intrigues me...Maybe this fear blocks it... but I dont want to fear it...I want to embrace it and let the fear turn into an accomplishment. I think that I am thinking too scientificaly about things though... that might be psyching me out a little.

I don't think so. My twin brother for one, cannot do all that and all this below...

Even more things I did not list include seeing much more light than I used to see. Car headlights now look like concentric rings, I've seen a cop's siren and it looked like a half blue, half red spiderweb (about six feet wide by two feet tall), and finally a nightlight down the hall looks like a half sphere with more prominent lines branching out radially. Yeah I really should not drive at night...which I usually do not.

Now I used to not be able to do this...even the stuff mentioned previously...I've changed, so I don't see how everyone else can do it too kim. I for one, don't think you can.

When I look at your 'spiritual problems' I wonder if they truly are 'problems'. You seem to think you are spiritually 'less' than others or something, that's abit silly if you ask me

Maybe its just me, but the things you describe, have in fact very little to do with real 'spirituality' if you'd ask me.

A truly spiritual person is not somebody that can AP on command, see auras on every person they encounter, or have full control of their 'PSI powers' ..a truly spiritual person is somebody that is filled with universal love for everybody, one that sees the beauty in all around him, one that feels with heart and soul..somebody with inner peace and tranquility, self love, wisdom..and by no means these abilities are necessary to achieve that

Spirituality is not about 'super natural' or 'paranormal' abilities, thats just a completely different thing. Its about feeling.
You can be extremely enlightened and still lack those abilities, because a truly spiritual person knows its not about those things.

Okay so thats probably not what you wanted to hear..because you probably just wanted to know how to enhance your 'paranormal' abilities (and don't care for my rambling =P). I'd say consider yourself lucky and be careful what you wish for. Some people struggle daily with the fact that they see and hear things others don't, and it brings them down. That's why it would be wiser to first find inner peace and tranquility before you even start getting into such things..its really not all that pretty. Messing around with ouija and similar things isn't a game. Just a word of advice

I hope you'll find whatever makes you happy though You'll get there I'm sure, in a natural way ^_^

Yeah, thanx a lot, Lucius.....And really, a few months ago, I just kicked this Randi freak off of my website, who said he wanted to give me $1mil in exchange for my email, b/c I guessed some thing-a-ma-bober!!
And yes, I may have a weird ability or 2 (WILD, DS, etc on Command, playing that fun speechless, but still understanding each other w/my friend Michelle, guessing 75% accurate at stuff like lottery bingo & card concentration, hearing & feeling stuff, etc), but it is kind of hindering, since people can get peeved at me for doing so, & I cannot do as well in front of people anyways . I usually don't care anyways, since I do spend a lot of time in my solitary life (I am not very social).

has anyone ever said the phrase 'persistence pays off'? Well it does, just keep trying and try not to get too aggrevated (I know thats easier said than done) but if you cant help it, then take a break and try again when your mind is clear. Your aggrevation might actually be the cause of your problems. If you are a lucid beginner maybe you should try doing some lucid dreaming excercises first and get used to what its like being cognitive of another reality before you try and do something as involved as astral projection... Just a suggestion

Persisting in something that is needlessly complicated incurs too much cost for too little benefit.

I tell drunk drivers they should persist. Don't get frustrated by early setbacks like swerving off the road. If you're not feeling so hot, stop to have a joint and relax. Do some affirmations and pray to your spirit guide. Then get back on that road, champ!
