Re-trying Micheal Reduga's the phase technique

The last time I posted I was new to lucid dreaming. Since then I've had 20 to 25 lucid dreams. I want to know people's experience with this system. I also need tips on how to awaken during the night without an alarm. For awakening without an alarm, I need to know what was done in anyone's experience on how they did it, because I was going to set alarms about an hour to an hour and a half to wake meup.It would be good if the poster gave really detailed instructions on how to awaken during the 2 to 4 hours he says in his book without an alarm. I'm trying to use this technique to astral project / obe / WILD.

Hi Luffy, Michael Ragugas book was a game changer for me. Its important to know that you do actually awaken several times during the night, the trick is to notice them. I set an alarm about 5 hours after sleep and get up for a few minutes. Ill then meditate back to sleep (which can sometimes turn into a WILD) whenever I wake up it ususally takes me a few seconds to notice that ive woken, ive usually moved also by now but even so, ill simply start cycling 'observing images, listening in with forced falling asleep' an hopefully get lucid.

So set your alarm for 5 hours into sleep, stay up for a few minutes with the intention to cycle when ever you wake up EVEN IF YOU HAVE MOVED OR EVEN IF YOU FEEL TOO AWAKE.

Also meditation during the day will increase your awareness making it more likely that you will notice micro awakenings

I also want to know how to AP / LD while lying in my usual sleeping position? The reason I'm asking is that most OBE / LD books make it seem like you have to lay on your back in order to project / LD. If ezzolucid or anyone else can share with me their experiences doing this or what I can do to experience LD / AP would be great.

I believe the reason people recommend laying on your back, is because the slight discomfort of not being in your ideal sleeping position keeps your mind more awake.

I believe it's perfectly possible to do it in your normal sleeping position, but it will be far easier to accidentally fall completely asleep.

I don't think I've ever WILDed without being on my back (It's always a happy accident that I'm on my back. Sleeping position isn't something I over-think when attempting WILD, but to be honest I think it should be), but I bet if I put enough effort in, I could do it in any position.

So really it's up to you. Try it on your back, try it in other positions, you'll figure out the best route for yourself.

So to DEILD is to attempt entry into a dream after waking up so the sleep position doent matter as the key is to remain still. To Wild however means attempting to become lucid from an 'already awake' state. Lying on the back makes this easier as decent into sleep is usually slower and smoother

You should really only concentrate on deilds for now, they are far easier then wilding. Read 'The Phase' by Micheal Raduga - its the only book worth reading for deild.

Is there a way to make my neck not hurt? I remember sleeping on my back last night and during the night / this morning my neck was hurting.

Any tips/experiences would be nice.

Hi,
I've been trying a phase technique by William Buhlman. It's where you visualize and say an affirmation before you go to sleep. I've also noticed that 9 times out of 10 I'll awaken in the middle of the night once. I also recall one dream a day with this technique. I haven't obed or ld'd yet. Should I do an affirmation in combination with the obe4u technique when I awaken during the night? I also only get one awakening a night for most of the time. Thanks.

I was able to have two lucid dreams the previous night / earlier this morning. If anyone replies back I'll post what I did to get the dreams.

From what I remember. I ended up saying an affirmation a few hours before I slept. The affirmation was

"I stay still while (upon) awakening
I awaken multiple times during sleep
And practice the phase now"

I added the now partly because of a recommendation I was given on William Buhlman's facebook. I then awoke from my alarmy app awakening me. I was too lazy to shut it off manually and I then pressed the button 1000 times. I then remember recalling a previous dream I had using Buhlman's AP technique (I didn't use his technique as usual which is why I didn't waken automatically like usual). If / when someone replies to this I'll describe the dream and the way it was.

Hi,
I wanted to ask if someone can tell me how to solve a problem? Every time I don't take my psych meds and go to sleep and awaken with an alarm clock after 5 or 6 hours for attempting to do the Micheal Raduga technique I end up staying awake. This is the second time doing this and I can't go back to sleep. He says in his tutorial to stay awake for 3 to 50 minutes. This morning I stayed awake for five minutes and immediately before / after I can't go back to sleep. Any advice?
