I wanted to know how anyone has achieved subsequent awakenings using Michael Raguga's obe4u method? The reason I'm asking is that I've only gotten one or two lucid dreams and it was when I went back to sleep and I visualized a previous dream. I've been trying to do it for the past two weeks and havne't been able to do it. I also only do it on Thursdays / Saturdays / Sundsays.

I haven't tried Michael Raguga's obe4u method, but I find being motivated to notice awakenings helps me notice them. It says this on the site for Michael Raguga's obe4u method:

An important part of the procedure is the desire to wake up and try the techniques. This desire is affirmed before falling asleep before the awakening that one plans to use. Thus, after a practitioner lies down to go back to bed after awakening at 6am, he mentally resolves to awaken and try the techniques. Some kind of motivation helps to make that resolution stronger, e.g. a plan of action (go up to a mirror and then do something of your own that you find quite interesting). Such a desire should be kindled before each new awakening after 6am. I've been trying to do an affirmation but it never works. Can you or anyone else give some advice on how to have a strong desire for the subsequent awakenings?

Subsequent awakenings?
I'm gonna assume it means, waking up, when you want, in rapid succession or anything like that?
if, that's the case, then you're in luck cause I know how to do that..
The simple thing is, your subconscious is very powerful, and it knows and understands what you want, deep down, hell, it is you ,deep deep down inside, it's responsible for everything you do really, breathing, pissing, making blood, pumping blood, growing hair, remembering patterns of how to walk, knowing what words mean what in x context, etc, etc..
So all you have to do is, bridge the gap between you and your subconscious mind, and you do this with meditation, which then leads to you being able to control your mind to such a far extent that you eventually will be do these things on the fly.
For an "affirmation" or a "mantra", to work, all you gotta do is have a deep focus on it, treat it like it's already working, and it will, in fact, it's already working.
Expect to wake up, feel yourself waking up when you want, without any doubts.
Now, this is one of the techniques, HOW it works, is a mystery. You can try explaining with science, or open-mindedness, or whatever have you, but I don't focus on that, don't worry about how it works, just worry about it working for your favor.

Hey luffy, I don't really know about the Raduga method, but your mantra is a lot like mine used to be. I simplified it down to basic words: "I wake after each dream, lie still with eyes closed, and remember the dream". At times I added other parts too, but that was the basic part of it, and it worked nicely. Do you normally use words like upon and awakening? On seeing that I expected your flag to be UK, but it's American like mine. I think if you normally talk like that then it's cool, but if not I'd pare it down a bit, to language your subconscious will easily understand. It's good that it's all in present tense and there are no negatives.
Oh, if you want to re-enter a dream, just add "..and re-enter the dream" at the end. Maybe instead of remember, because it pretty much implies that part. Or maybe after it, whatever seems best to you. Whichever you pick though, stick with it and use it the same way for a good long time. I think it only took maybe a week or so to start working for me? But I was using it every night. Another thing that helped, I was keeping a dream journal next to my bed and when I was ready for sleep I would write my intent and my mantra in it each night. It helps solidify it even more in your mind.

Well, if you want to say "practice the phase" that would be fine - just put that at the end instead of "re-enter the dream". To me it makes more sense to say "wake after each dream" than "awake multiple times" - it covers multiple times, right, but it's more precise, because that's specifically when you want to wake, after each period of dreaming. Also it cuts out the repetition - it condenses your first 2 lines down to just one. I think a mantra needs to be really tight and compact so you will easily remember it. But feel free to swap out whatever wording works for you, this is just my approach.
Edit - I just realized, you might be wanting to wake in the middle of a REM phase rather than the end of it, if you hope to re-enter the dream, so you'd have to modify "after each dream" to something like "in the middle of each dream". But like I say, I'm not familiar with the Raduga technique, so I'm just guessing it's about re-entering dreams.
I also notice you only do it 3 times a week, and only for 2 weeks now. You need to stick with it longer than that to really start getting results. Probably the biggest reason for failure is people getting impatient and losing hope after just a little while. It takes repetition for a certain amount of time to effect a change in the way your mind works, and as soon as you start saying things like "This doesn't work for me" or "it isn't working" your mind hears you giving up, and that sets it as a new intention (giving up I mean). It's really all about your mindset - be patient, stay hopeful and positive, believe it's already is starting to work.

Sorry, I don't know the Raduga technique and I'm not going to try to learn it right now. I was only suggesting a certain way of putting together a mantra, because that's something I have experience with. It's up to you if you want to try to use my mantra advice in conjunction with the Raduga stuff, but I can't specifically tailor a mantra for that.

I also wanted to ask is it good to have a visualization with the affirmation? The reason I'm asking is that William Buhlman says in order to obe you should have an affirmation along with a visualization. I've been doing this and every night I awaken once automatically and recall a dream.

Could someone tell me what to do in this situation? Evertime I try to awaken after 4 to 5 hours of sleep I end up staying up. Also should I have a mantra for doing the subsequent awakenings?
