      What happened?

Okay, today I was sitting on my futon watching TV, and I started to fall asleep, I dont remember if I was dreaming...but I felt something like pulling on my face, and I swore I felt myself start to like come up/out...but then I freaked out kinda cause it felt wierd and woke up...

I think I may have seen the TV but Im not sure...

Could that have just been a dream or what?

Sounds to me like SP. The touching on the face is relatively common, while the floating sensation is a bit rarer
I know a lot about SP, b/c lately, I have explored deeply into SP study from other websites, & your experiences fit the bill!!

Yes, it was SP and the beginning of an OBE since you felt your dream body and the dream started right were you were. Technically it was a lucid state - body asleep, mind awake - and usually lucidity is highest in SP because you are directly aware of the state of your physical body and the place you're in etc. It's almost like you're completely awake with weird sensations but at the same time you're in total dream mode and can feel your dream body. These kind of dreams can be the best of em all but they're not always easy If you're not afraid, maybe next time you can enter a fine lucid dream.
