A dream I had and freaked me out!

OK. I don't know if this happens to everyone or just a few people but once I had a dream that was kinda strange.I had it the night before I and my class at school were going on a trip.I dreamed the whole route of our trip(we went to a place in which I had never been before so it was impossible to know the places and streets we were going to visit before we get to our destination)and I even saw how the sea looked like:it was tumultuous, smelled the air and heard the sound that the waves did. When I woke up and went on that trip I freaked out when I saw that the places we were visiting were the same as in my dream and even the feelings I had in reality were the same with the ones I had while dreaming.I t was such a weird feeling realising that I had just experienced in reality everything I had seen in my dream the previous night.

I don't really know how to explain it.It is like the future already exists and we might be able to view some images of it in our dreams sometimes.

      all of space-time already exists

because nothing existed, to maintain balance, every possible outcome had to exist

that is the only way we exist, now we experience that by creating an illusion of time, only to allow us to move through the series of images at a pace that makes it look like a movie, and we control the path we go on by the thoughts we have (pure thought mind you)

i often have dreams that actually shape how i act in the real world, like circumstances where i would not have done it had i not seen it happen in a dream

how that makes sense..? hell if i know

perhaps we have experienced time backwards already and we are now experiencing it forwards (or vise-versa) so if we try we can remember our experiences before and after the 'now'

      just a thought
      Why?

Gus, that didn't make sense at all. Your dreams influence your actions, because that's their evolutionary sense, not becuase we travelled through time.

the past + the present = the future...according to the way humans perceive existence. there is no free-will and there is no controlling a path, just the illusion of control.

I also know what that is like, because I do it a lot.

I can sometimes even do it while awake if I concentrate hard enough.

      A dream...

      Hey Cassandra,
I can relate. I've dreamed about certain days the night before, and then had to live them. It does mess with one's mind. Actually, once I did it every night and day for like a week, and it started messing up my reality because my head would buzz and my brain would not accept that I hadn't already lived those things once before, so I would sort of 'blank out" and people thought I was acting strange, which did not originally happen in the dream. Finally it stopped one day, and I haven't done it in awhile now.
I really appreciate your explanation, Gus! I think there's a lot of truth there.

I get this alot too and also but have noticed a language to it too, is seams to be based on colour and light..... i.e. if something is bright & colourful, I will encounter it in the day and i know to go along with it or do what the dream suggested...... and if there is part colourful and part dark, that i should not persue that path.... and anyhting totally dark to steer well away from. The feeling in the day from persuing the best path is great, as it clears up repetitious negative actions on my part.

there is also a trigger action in the dream that tells me in the day that the dream is starting and to be on my toes.... to do or not do what i dreamed according to the colour and light. This is can vary from someone saying something or doing something or seeing an object... it can be anything that i already dreamed, after that is the important part of acting acording interpretation of the dream.

      does anyone else get this?

      Past, present, and future.

There are two ways to see parts of time.

      1) All things past, present and future exist right now. Religiously speaking, God said he sees us before we are born, all our pesky lives, and our death. In this view, we can get closer to God and view the confines of time as something like a three dimensional box that we can watch. This perfectly explains why many dream things before they happen, and those that avoid God have difficult with this.

2)All things past, present, and future are possible. This makes things an act of will and not a giving into destiny. This is why sometimes a dejavu experience can be changed with a realization it is a dejavu experience at that point in time.

You choose. Whatever you choose, you are right. Live that way.
