Hypnosis doesn't have anything to do with being a skeptic or a believer. I don't see why anyone would think hypnosis isn't real or something along those lines.

My company organised a hypnotist/comedian as well.
I volunteered along with some others actually, but he couldn't hypnotise me, no matter what I tried.
Eventually he was coming around to do more individual attempts, and he got me close. But no cigar.

I'm actually disappointed. I thought I would be an easy target.. ahem .. I mean... volunteer.

ya our school had a hypnotist come, he was funny as hell and hypnotized some students and teachers...one teacher (wrestling coach) like grabbed him hypnotized and like wouldnt let go, just held on for dear life for like 10 miniutes and screwed up the hypnotists act. eventually we had to have a group of people pry the coach off of him.

I've seen Terry Stokes -- "America's Favorite Hypnotist" -- every year at the AZ State Fair for many years now. He always puts on a good show. I've also seen his "adult show" a couple of times that he does here once a year -- really hilarious. And he has a regular gig at one of the Las Vegas hotels.

However, I was a volunteer once, and I must say that although I was susceptible to his suggestions, I also had the feeling that I could have resisited pretty easily if I had tried very hard. But having said that, it's obvious by watching the show that some people are more easily influenced than others.
