      Qualifications of an OBE

What are classic qualities of an OBE? Am unsure if I am having OBE's as opposed to lucid dreams

I've had 30 or so OBEs, sometimes multiple in a row, but maybe on 15 different nights overall.

First, it starts with a tingling feeling in your stomach, then you get lightheaded, and start floating up towards the ceiling. When you are out, you should feel disconnected. Also, some report that when you are out of body, your vision simply becomes a sphere, which one may see in front or behind them. Also you can go right through walls, roofs, etc.

Of course, when you are having an OOBE, your thoughts can manifest really quickly. Like, one may have a spherical field of vision if they think there is one. Also, my vision tends to be purple, green and yellow for OOBEs, but no one else seems to get that. Here are other examples of where thinking can do you in.

First, I was in a whole bunch of ether, a fluid, so I had to swim through my house and wall. Another time, I was thinking about my heart being a dipole with an electric field, so I struggled to get away from my body, getting yanked all over the place around my room before going back in my body.

I have been on the verge of having an OBE and just can't seem to make it happen. About 4 months or so ago. It was trying to happen alot. Almost every night or a couple times a night for almost a week. I would be laying in bed, and sometimes i would float up, and then lay back down. Sometimes it was very violent. But i would never totally leave the bed. The most i would get, i would be standing up, but my feet would still be on the bed, or just a bit of my butt, and my arms and legs would be in the air. After that week i didn't have anymore experiences until this past weekend, when i tried to leave the bed, once, but never happened. Last night it happened again. This time about 10 times, and only once i fully came off the bed and started floating foward, and the top of my foot touched the the covers, and then it was ended.

But what i've found out the only way i can do it, is to put myself into a very deep trace. I take enough herbs before i go to bed to relax my body so i don't have to toss and turn. But i have to lay on my back and not move a single muscle, or twitch or even sallow. And then after an hour of that, it will happen. But as i'm laying in bed. I'm relaxed and asleep, but a part of brain is still awake and aware of everything that is happening. And i have to train myself not to think about anything, If my mind starts wonding about everyday life, then i'm screwed until the next night.
