I'm new to this forum, but i've experienced a lot of cool things and some scarey things when i dream. i too am a lucid dreamer, almost every dream i have i tell myself in my dream "it's just a dream, go for it"
I have experienced the same thing you've experienced meshuggah, i used to get it a lot, and still do. but i haven't experienced it in a while now, but im sure its going to come back.
Well, heres my side to the story, i felt everything you've felt during this, i would yell but not here anything, i would try to move but every time i did it would feel as if i was trapped or had my entire body paralyzed, and i could see everything in my room, my eyes would be open and i could also see my tv on (i usually ended up falling asleep with my tv on ). From what i remember, i'm not sure if i did or didn't, but i was able to see like a vibrating wave all over my body (like a shield around me or something, but it would vibrate shake tremendously), then after a while i would feel a vibrating feeling, and feel a sense of relief as something leaves my body (same as flushed out and tingling feeling as you stated), during all this i also have a great sense of fear, as if i wont be able to get out of this or going to die, but eventually this experience just ends and i am back to normal.
I remember i once told my mom about this, and she told me that she once heard about this, she said that its some spirit trying to find a way to go, she told me that the spirit is lost and doesn't realize (or won't except) it's death [like that movie ghost]. so she told me just to pray for that spirit to find its way and go to heaven. so i did, but i wanted to know more about this strange feeling, and wanted to see if i could do anything while i'm in this stage.
So this is what i did... after experiencing this evryday for about a week, everyday i would try to move my arm, days went by, and eventually, i learned how to move one of my arms and move my head a bit while experiencing this, but the strange thing is that as soon as i move my arm it is pulled bak to my body (or where it was originally) as if it was attached to a rubber band. the first day that i realized i masterd moving my arm, i got out of this stage, still frightend for some reason, but i said to myself in my head, "do it again", and then it happened again, i fell back into this weird stage, and once again i was able to move my arms and head. It was really cool, but still can't figure out how to get out of this stage. everytime i experience this i always feel as if something is trying to enter my body, but just can't make it through, and then all the vibrations i was feeling would just fade away. I'm not sure why we get this, or even why i was able to experience this for a whole week straight. I also can't figure out why we feel so much fear when this happens, but i did realize that i could calm my body down (which is how i managed to move my arm) and reduce the fear a bit.
You should try doing what i did, i've noticed the only thing you could hear during this is a vibrating or buzzing sound and the voice in your head. So try talking to yourself, because thats the main control you have during this, and tell yourself to move your arms or any other part of your body, and little by little you will be able to. All you have to do is believe.
