Thread: dreams with deceased people in them

Yes, i have these with my nana in them all the time. She is alive and kicking in them.. They are nice.

I often dream of the dead.

I was born late in my parents' lives... they were married 20 years before having children, thinking all that time that it wasn't possible. Mom thought she had cancer... turned out to be me.

As a result, I've buried a lot of relatives and family friends. Many of my childhood friends are gone, too.

Most of them live on in my dreams. I've not become lucid with any of them yet... not quite sure I want to. In my dreams, they are alive and that's all there is to it. Their faces, personalities and spirits all seem to be there, in all their comfortable and beloved familiarity. My encounters with them are peaceful and comforting.

I don't read any more into it than that. I don't want to become lucid with them. I want to continue enjoying the illusion of things the way they used to be... or how they could have been.
