      Holy Crap!

I've been doing this 'Focus Technique' for quite a while now, and it's getting really cool. Alls I do is sit and listen to some good music and focus on something happening, AND IT DOES! Every single time. Not once has it failed me!

      What do you all think?

Could you go into a little more detail? I think what you are looking for here is manifestation. Exactly what are you manifesting, i.e. something big or little. Are you willing the phone to ring, or a girl to ask you out? See the difference there?

How long do you sit and concentrate on something? What's the most impressive thing you have manifested so far? More details, please.

I beleive that what you can suppsoedly do is true and possible, yet I do not think you are telling the truth. For one, you didn't give very much detail. For two the "So what do you all think" part at the end sounded... fake? Sorry if I'm being a little harsh but... Explain what you did in more detail and give me some example and I will be perfectly content
need to actually start like trying to LD i've pretty much started that now kinda.

Ah, I see the reason for you skepticism, but why would I have any reason to lie? It would serve no purpose to me. And I was pretty excited at the time.

I'll usually focus on a single thing happening for around 3 minutes. Or the length of whatever song I'm listening to at the time. I just focus on this little ball of energy around the area of my Solar Plexis, and when I think it's enough, I'll 'send' it to my goal.

I once wanted to have a conversation with a girl, who had a lot of nasty rumors circulating around about her. I wanted to get a gist of what kind of person she really was, so I focused on it happening. Now, she's a grade below me, and as such our pathes would normaly never cross. About 3 days later, she rides my bus to go home with a friend, and begins talking to me. I'd never do it to make someone go out with me, since that's evil.

At another point, I was going to have the opportunity to spend all day outdoors, but the forecast was for rain. As such, I focused on atleast partly cloudy, which was what I got.

That's heaps cool. I've willed a few things to happen... minor things. Edit: Sorry about my skeptizism... i was tired lol

      Have you heard of 'synchronicity'?

You actually do not have a cause and effect technique here. What you have is a synchronistic impulse that is a click ahead of the future. All of this synchronicity works fine while you are free to follow your impulses... to wish for what you already know deep down inside is going to happen anyway. But if you were to push it, that is, to experiment with it, then you would quickly see the mechanism fall apart.

I'm afraid I don't follow you, Leo. This will work so long as my positive thought dictates it to. And no, I haven't heard of synchronicity, atleast not in that particular context.

i believe that you just gave me further reasoning as to my thoughts that i only come to Beyond Dreaming for a good laugh.

you 'wanted' something to happen...and then 3 days later it did. where exactly is the time limit? i 'want' a ps3 but i'm not gonna be shocked and amazed 7 months from now when i get one.

and to answer your question, your reason for lieing would be the same as everyone else that lies on message boards. you want people to think you are cool
and when he gets to heaven, to saint peter he will tell. "one more soldier reporting sir. i've served my time in hell"
