      Diethyl Ether

Recently I have aquired diethyl ether, a highly flammable solvent used in starting fluid. It was used in the 1800's recreationally. If you've seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the part where they are at the fair, they are tripping on ether.

When I first tried it I thought it was only going to make me feel drunk, but it was more like some kind of psychedelic. Reality completely broke into little pieces, and I remember thinking, "If I sober-up from this my life will never be the same again."

Not many people have tried this and I was wondering if anyone here has tried it. I'd be interested in hearing ether effects on other people.

can't say i have, but its always sounded interesting..

my uncle (christian fundamentalist) did it with his friend when they were both 12 or something. scared him so bad he swore to god he'd never do another drug the rest of his life if he would just stop being so high..

      are there any potential risks?

Risks? I'm not positive but I would guess that its just as safe as nitrous oxide.

      It is absolutly mind-blowing.
