      Dream Connecting..

Hey, I was just pondering.. Is it possible to have a simultaneous dream with someone? And if so, how do you practice it?

This is indeed possible as i have experienced it before although in my experience, shared dreams are very limited, for example, you can only share a dream if both you and the other are lucid and both must want to meet one and other in the dream. If you call for the "other" in your dream, they may hear your call in "their" dream but you must both believe or it will not happen. Believe in your dreams and anything can be made possible.

I have tried having a shared dream with my husband. I had a lucid dream with him that was so real that I held his arms and looked into his eyes and said to him in the dream.

"Remember this is lucid state and remember all the symbols around us stay focused I am gong to wake myself up and then you. So try to remember."

When I woke up it turned out he had never gone to sleep and stayed up late looking at TV with my daughter. So when I had this complete cool lucid dream with him he wasn't even sleeping.

It was a cool experience but a disapointment at the same time. I was hoping to hear of a shared dream.

      Thanks for reading. :-)

      Yes.

Years ago I had a Shared Dream with a lady friend, but it was not as though we had decided to meet on our dreams. it was when I was still a lad in College, and I was always hungry back then. And the young lady, Anne, appeared as though she would not tolerate missing too many meals in a row. So we met in a dream where we were both scavenging for Food in the College Cafeteria in the middle of the night.

It seems like a dream, but might actually have been something of an Astral Projection or Our of Body Experience, but it seemed like a dream.

The next day when we saw each other in the hallway, we were effusively giddy and both talked at once about what we experienced and said to each other in the dream, and all of the details, pouring out simultaneously, quite tallied up.

      mutual dreaming

Thanks for sharing your mutual dream that you had with someone else. :-)

Could you let me know how different was it from other lucid dreams or dreams that you might have had? What did the surroundings look like? When I mean how it looked I mean the clarity not really the objects. Were you able to look behind you?

I know when I dream there are a distinct four levels of thought processes I go through in each stage. I am just wondering if in one stage in particular are when these mutual dreams occur.

I feel I have having mutual dreams with this man and few people I don't know in my waking life.

      Thanks for sharing :-)

its interesting you talk about "shared dreams" I think i might have had one with a male friend of mine although it was as non-chalant as a hand gesture or a kiss on the cheek but it felt stranger then just a normal dream almost like someone was looking in on me. I have never talked to him about this he's kinda cynical but have always wondered if it was a shared dream
