Im not sure if i did a wild

Ok when i mean by the title "Im not sure if i did a wild" i mean by i was performing one but it went strange.
Ok i awoke in the night and felt sleepy and i needed to go toliet but i then thought maybe i don't need to because then i can't get back to bed afterwards. So i then thought about doing a wild so i did.
I was listening to my breath and thought when are these images going to come(i felt a light but quick vibration in fact i would't call it a vibration because it felt so light). It came as soon as i thought it and i saw a sprial. Now i then thought when are the sounds going to come. As soon as i thought this there was some kind of voice and it was saying something like this "its probably not a dream and you don't need to get up because you will find your self awake and it will all be for nought". It felt like i knew this voice and seemed to be a caring type.
When he was talking i could see sometype of portal. It was strange as it had many differnt objects in a strange landscape and was surreal. It all shimmured gold and i felt incredibly light.
Now the only reason i believed in the voice was because i had a fan on in the room but still could hear it. I have read that you you lose contact of any sound going on in the outside world and can only hear the hypnotic sounds.
As i rejected the thought that i was doing a WILD and i lost con and plummeted into a dream.
I couldn't remebr the dream but it felt so real and i felt like i was in a dream when i did this WILD.
It felt like a dream because you have that strange sight whereyou can see but it looks almost like its not meant to be there or as if it was fussy but clear at the same time.
Can anyone tell me if this was a dream or a WILD?plz
