Thread: This may sound stupid, but...

Actually, it's not too stupid of a question. Scientifically, it cannot be tested, and it seems that quite a few people have their own idea of what it is, whether they believe in it or not. What I'm saying, is that there really is no standard answer, no defined criteria.

On a handful of occasions, I have astral projected, I do know that one can convert back and forth between dreaming and astral projecting. Is it all just one dream though? Who knows, make your own decision once you do project.

i believe that LD and AP are 2 diff. things.

you have a physical body and an astral body, which is made of energy. ill try to find a good link that explains this in further detail.

everybody AP's every once in a while when theyre sleeping, but it is an unconscious act, thus they dont remember it any better than theyd remember a dream. but of course some people are able to do it voluntarily.

i know this man whose friends moved to a new house. before he and his wife ever visited those friends in their new house his wife had a very vivid dream about the house-or so she thought. that same night, the friends saw a ghostly image of her and were afraid that she had died. they called the guy, all frantic. the wife told them she'd dreamed of the house and they had her describe the house , and she was right on. of course, it is rare to actually see someone in astral. but this seems to prove that its not just a dream.
