Dreams having an effect on reality

Hey LDers... one thing ive encountered with both awake induced lucid dreaming (or astral projection) and sleeping lucid dreaming is an odd sychronicity between what happens in the dream/astral and what happens here. have you ever had a dream where you would request to see a certain someone that u haven't seen in a while when LD'ing then u see them, talk to him/her.... then wake up and walk around the corner and lo and behold, you see the person you dreamed about?
this has happened to me with utterly high frequency. it's a highly subjective state of self awareness, like the "place" you go when in lucid dreaming is your own personal universe free of physical limits... and everyone has these personal realities that are access and part of a huge internetworking called the collective unconscious by Carl Jung, but to what extent does that go? Can you go so far into this that dream-forms lose their identifiable features altogether and you are emersed in what's left, a non-sensation, a non-thought... no-thing-ness... there folds into another dreamlike dynamic universe, but without any identifiable features, just notions, subtile knowings, a feeling like you are it, non-localized and traveling on "strings" for a lack of a better word. you imagine that you are say... about to travel somewhere and you see a car, the lines between reality and dreams don't exist any more, and you wake up to find somewhere in your day that someone either gives you a car or you get it cheap.
please. i need some feedback. i've only done this once, maybe twice, semi-conscious of doing it. if our dreams have the power to manifest our desires into reality, what are we as cosmic beings and why don't we utilize this power, unless we are not evolved enough to handle it responsibly?

      -Now there's some heady shit-
Dreaming lets you know reality doesn't really exist

what if instead it was reality to affect dreams?
something like a mild precognitive state?
or maybe, as you say, you just find in the "internetworking " net of collective inconscious some hints of what is happening in the identically internetworking real world?
(i'm not going to incomodate the concept of wyrd but... well maybe a little )

How about a linear combination, of dreams affecting reality and reality affecting dreams? That fits both theories, depending on the weights.

In other news, I think we can change things with our minds, it just happens faster in a dream environment, and if we do during reality, it takes so long, most don't remember wanting to change it. That's why people should manifest a good memory .
