I started to focus on the words and, all of a suddenly, I could understand them. I stood up and said, in their language: “Hey, I heard that, I demand an apology?”. Apparently they were talking derogatorily about us. That was the whole dream.
I have no clue if what they spoke was real or not though.
Actually, it really isn't rude to speak slightingly of people in a language that they do not understand... where is the insult if no offense is intended? But the rudeness would only come if they were deliberately excluding you from the conversation. So it is at dinner parties that people inquire about to see if there is any common language everybody can understand.
