What you are describing is just one of the variation of the WILD onset. A rare one, but it still leads to a regular LD. I had at least two such experiences. In one I rose from my body to a room full of light, in other I fell through my bed into darkness. What followed were just regular lucid dreams with good degree of awareness.

See, the hallucinations you experience during WILD are most commonly described as "vibrating" or a feeling of energy flowing through your body, but they can take any form. Falling, Rising, Shifting, Pain, Discomfort, Presence of people, entities, weird sounds, seeing with your eyes closed < these are the things that I have experienced and can recall off the top of my head.

I love falling in my sleep! It's fun IMO.

So that's a hallucination? That's cool I've always wanted to hallucinate but I've never tried drugs.

Yeah, I get these 'false dreams' as I doze off where I'm in some situation where the end is ultimately me falling (off a roof, backwards in a chair) and I jolt up in bed. Happened yesterday, and it was a usual violent jerk.
