Me And My Double

Ok, this sounds wierd but i've been reading a lot about how everyone has a spirit double.

The only time i can say where i might've reached my double was after meditating. i had the strange sensation that i was someone else, that "ranma" was far away. i was in my physical body but i saw myself from across the room. i looked at myself confused, but i wasn't scared or anything in fact it seemed normal. then i saw my double vanish into mist. when that happened i was myself again.

not only have i seen my double. i have seen peoples doubles acting out their Intent. sometimes i think i am going completely crazy.

they all took place in my periphials. one morning i was in bosses truck on my way to work. i was in the backseat reading and in the corner of my eye i saw woman knocking on the truck window. i didn't turn my head at first because it seemed completely normal. it didn't clue in that the knocking produced no noise. so i looked up and there was no one standing there. BUT she was sitting in her car (this was at a red light BTW) and she was staring at us. i thought nothing of it and went back to reading. then i saw her again standing at our truck. of course when i looked up she was really in her car.

Later on i told royce what i had saw. he thought for a moment and then remembered. He said he didn't know how, but he somehow knew that that woman wanted to be in our truck. he then made a joke that she probably wanted to give us all blowjobs (he has the grossest sense of humor BTW).

a day later. iw as walking down the street in a different city. i noticed a young woman with and incredible figure (at least that's how she looked from behind) Much to my dismay, when i walked past her i looked back and she was much older.
she crossed the street and was walking parrallel to me. i suddenly saw a huge flash in my periphials. i looked over and the woman was staring at me (actually she looked kind of like the woman in the car... strange).

another time when i was in Trevors truck we were driving down Yonge and in my periphials i saw two women fighting in the middle of the street. i clearly saw them pulling eachothers hair and slapping but it looked sped up like 30 times. when i looked up they were walking on opposite sides of the street and began crossing the street. i saw them size eachother up in disgust.

is it that our doubles are at the command of our intent? was it their doubles i saw acting out their intent?

has anyone had any experiences like this 'cause sometimes i think I'm going insane.

yea, when im on drugs.... You can tell exactly what peoples intents are by their actions and looks on their faces. Somtimes youll feel completely fine and then very uneasy for no reason and realise that somone is looking at you (usually in your periferal). But i see where you're coming from to answereyour question

thje reason why i post this is because i hoped others would have experiences with their double? if so i would like to try and see my double more often!

from last nights dream journal.

i'm convinced my double is a psychopath.

he just said "hello" to me tonight.

earlier today i did some gazing in a mirror. i stared blankly thinking "double double double" (probably not an impeccable practice mind you).

anyway, i can't sleep worth a damn 'cause i took some vitamin b6 (supposed to help with lucidity). i was just laying there and the vitamin must have some nearly hallucinogenic properties. I was hearing music, at first it was random notes on out of this world synth pads and stuff. it slowly formulated into songs. i noticed they used the scales of our world but it had "out of this world properties".

then i heard guitar music. it was FAST and suddenly i was dreaming. but it wasn't dreaming more like i was seeing. notice how your doubles perception just takes over what you see and how unable to think you are. it was like that! i saw my self sitting in font of a mirror playing my guitar. but the EYES they had this blank expression. his face was illuminated.

i've seen this before in dreaming. I or my double. will be in front of a mirror with an illuminated face but they eyes are blank but full of life. (you know the expression Elija Woods character from Sin City, his face has that expression). it scares the hell outta me sometimes!

i think the mirror thing is just his way of saying "i'm here!". i must say he's a damn better guitarist than I. I wonder if i can use my dreaming double for writing music?[/b]

It just came to me: to be aware of your double requires some meditation. however you can try my technique of gazing into a mirror. the technique here is to look into a large mirror. stare and unfocus your eyes, don't blink, eventually objects and things fade from your sight. your face remains constant. keep repeating "double" do gazing until you see another face super imposed over yours. it might not be your double, but try to focus your intent on your double. plus it's freaky!!!! when you've had enough just carry on in your way. you might see your double in a dream or he might make you see with his perception for a few seconds.
