Happy Holidays everyone! Haven't posted in months, but I wanted to share this story that was told to me. After Christmas was over at my house, I met up with my friend who shared this with me, 100% the truth.

Her uncle had died a few years ago. A while after, I forget if it was recent, her aunt was in a casino when a woman started following her around for a long time. Finally this woman approached the aunt at the blackjack table and started talking about her dead husband (I believe he died of health problems). This woman had never met the aunt before but knew that her husband had died. She asked the aunt if a cardinal (a red bird native to New England) had been following her around, and there had been. In fact a cardinal had followed her all the way to Arizona one time, and today was sitting outside the dining room window during their Christmas dinner (they don't live in Arizona and don't stay here for the winter). The woman told her that she was a psychic and the cardinal was the uncle, and he wanted to let his wife know that he's ok and not to worry about the basement (I think it had flooded recently).

So a completely random woman comes up to my friend's aunt and tells her that her husband is alive on this world in a bird, a very pretty one at that. And this bird hangs around the house all the time. I know it coulda been a lucky guess, she was alone in the casino, maybe the birds she saw were just stupid and didn't migrate right, a lot of people's basements flood, but I completely believe this. It makes life after death seem a lot less lonely if you can still carry on in this world with your family, even as a bird. Heck I'd love it. What do you all think?

That's a pretty weird story! (and I guess I'll ignore your username when contemplating whether I believe this or not . ) There are so many unexplainable things in this world... But I'm sure hearing that her husband was okay meant a lot to your friend's aunt.

haha I know I like my name. It reflects my outlook on life, either believe it or don't. Thought it was creative.

It was a very emotional experience for her, she broke into tears telling the story. My friend is also relieved by it because she was close to him. He was a good person, as most people are who die early, and it's even a comfort to me knowing there is justice in the afterlife. Death is one of my biggest interests and fears, as my family gets old and there's a real possibility I might even lose my dad to cancer, so it's nice to know that they're still going to be out there watching over. Death is part of the reason I was so interested in lucid dreaming, because I saw it as a way of learning about and strengthening the spirit so when my time comes I'll be ready. I'll probly wanna stick around this world too, even though the people are sick, there's no place like home .

I Actually believe this, the world is fulled with so many wonders, I believe if you can dream and do things that are unbelievable, then anything is possible. I have a theory that when you die your body is asleep in a casket, and you leave your body, and live your life in a dream form, on earth until judgement day. Anyway, there was A time that a bird would appear at our window every morning, the same window, and peck the glass. Look in at us, and stay there for a few minutes looking at us. I mean he came every morning and to us, my mom and I, we thought it was my uncle (which he had just pasted away.) Then a few months later, he stopped coming.

Just thought I’d share.

I'd like to be reincarnated so long as I had my original mind from being human.

Well, I would rather move on to another life than be reincarnated in the form of an animal. It just seems so pointless, if that's all that there is. Maybe it's a phase you can go in/out of, like you can occupy a birds body for as long as you want to watch over people, and then leave, restoring the bird to it's original state. That I would like.

I wouldn't mind it all, to be freed from the stresses of civilization. Life would be so much simpler as a bird. And being an eagle would be pretty cool too.

But like Slacker said, it does seem pointless. I mean, some may say that one will come back if they are not "done" yet, but I don't see how they could possibly finish whatever they were out to do in the form of an animal.

hmmmm....hmmmmmmmmm.....hmmmmmm >_<;

Now I have read a lot of stuff..but there isn't much on people LITERALLY coming back as animals. If he came back as animal who would have lost his humanity, he would be a stupid bird, he poops on cars, and eats insects, has sex with other birds and may even attack eat his children, who knows. It doesnt matter how intelligent the soul is, the physical brain is designed to limit its knowledge - you will only be as smart as that animal. The human soul you can say is on a learning program, and taking a step back *becoming an animal* is not on the program or beneficial to the human soul in any way, we have no lessons to learn as animals, its a waste of our time. Were supposed to go up on the chart, not down. When most beliefs talk about people LITERALLY reincarnating as an animal, its meant as a negative, meaning - they are too soul-immature to be human.

People who fantasize about being animals should watch more nature programs and see what shitty lives real animals have to endure. Its not all flying around and having fun, song birds live in fear.

But here is what I have heard - disguises. In many religions and spiritual beliefs throughout, spirits can take disguises so not to frighten us or interfere with our Earthly lessons. Guardian Angels have taken the disguises of every day human beings, even going so far as drinking coffee and eating - some disguises last only a moment, others can last for years. A disguise means they arent..really born as a human, and they dont die. Just as miracously as they came they leave. The length of a physical disguise depends on how much soul energy the spirit has. This also infers that demons can not use disguises since many are actually weak - which is why many demons resort to CONTROLLING someone elses body. Some Christians even believe that Jesus Christ appeared in a human disguise after his ressurection, which was why he asked his apostles not to touch him - it might not have been flesh they felt The disguise in these lore don't die like a body does, it is energy from the soul, as such when the spirit is done with the disguise they really do just sorta 'ascend' back where they came from - which also coincides with the story of Jesus.

Guardian Angels have also been known to take on the form of dogs - and really bite!

I know someone who had Fallen Angel written in hebrew on her arm. Later that day she was attacked by some dogs, nothing too serious as the dogs only bit where the words were written. Scared she rubbed off the words and the dogs have never attacked her again.

There are a lot of stories about those who have recently died coming back as birds, butterflies and what not - but do not take this so literally as meaning someone reincarnated as an animal - is that is no fairy tale life. A lot of these animals can mysteriously appear as soon as the day after the funeral - when realistically if the deceased had reincarnated into an animal - he or she would just be an egg, not a full grown bird or butterfly And what are the chances of such delicate little birds following a person day and night ignoring the huge appetite little birds have Birds have to eat, they dont have time to follow people. And they have to watch out for the skies for hawks and eagles that prey on them.

sometimes after the spirit is done with a disguise, a dumb animal is compelled to stick around in the spirits place. It will just in the tree, poop on the car and will hardly perform any miracles. And I wouldnt take it as literally meaning "hey..look you see that stupid bird up there! thats my dad!" The message in this case is, when ever you see that animal it is a REMAINDER that the beloved spirit is still here with you.

PS. A beloved on the other side can do thousand times more things for you, than a bird

in my belief, we choose where we are born! If your soul really did desire such a simple life, why werent you born as a native living in the jungle? Studies show they have more free time than any other culture in the world, sleep all day, party all night, get food in the morning and never worry about cold weather. And not to mention sex is encouraged in tribal societies like no other!

but you werent born as a tribal human were you? civilization may be a bitch, but there must be something about your personality that has itself attached to this crazy modern world, otherwise you would have already rejected the computer as a tool of utter evil and moved out the closest forest.

I'd hate to break it to you, but it is only a coincidence.

When you die, you die.

Reincarnation is absolutely insane. Sorry.

Rell, from that site:

* There is neither heaven nor hell. These two places are fairy tale worlds that spring from the human imagination.

* You do not have an "everlasting soul." The concept of a soul is completely imaginary.

* People do not have "eternal life" after their deaths. The whole notion of eternal life is a fantasy.

* People do not meet back up with dead friends and family members in the afterlife, nor is there any reincarnation.

* There are not 72 virgins waiting for you in heaven if you martyr yourself in a suicide bombing.

* And so on... [/b]
People cant just say those things and ask people to accept them in the way that they are saying - that page is just full of a person's beliefs. In the same way that people cannot prove that there is a heaven or a hell, nobody can prove that there isn't. The universe was brought into existence, and how can nothing become something at the beginning of time?

And when you say that there is no such thing as a soul - two genetically identical beings can have completely different thoughts and ideals. So, what is this 'soul'? Some people think that it resides in part of the unmapped brain (scientists don't know exactly what happens in quite a large part of the brain) - so how can you prove that a soul doesn't exist when we don't understand the physical body fully enough?

If reincarnation is possible..and if you believe it..Why don't you remember your last reincarnation? The soul may be put in another body, in another existance, but will we ever be consious of anything but our mortal body and mind? These memories, feelings, love...will reside forever in this body and die with this body. The soul...the main thing may go on...but Will we knoww it? maybe for a short time..we'll experience it..but that means nothing in a next life, where we will probably just as well forget it...Unless of course someway, you have a way to find out, which is completely possible..but to consiously know you are reincarnated? I don't think thats possible..to say now in life "I want to come back as blablalblblablalblabla! I want to be reincarnated" Maybe, chances were...you already are...so uh...Congrats..
my believes are that the as the bible says "we will not all sleep" Meaning::: Some may be reincarnated, others may reside in heaven..so on and so on, maybe even be trapped in "limbo" as a "Ghost"..not knowing which way to go..
And in anycase..isn't it odd..to think that all these things your building up in life now..all the relationships and love and emotions..will be gone....you'll never experience this life again..so why not make the most of it..your basically given a clean slate each time....so why not..why not do what you've always wanted, be what you want..becasue when ur "next life" comes......you won't remember any of it..
THen theres the whole issue that we are a speck of dust in the grand scheme of things, heh, but I'll stop now.

The universe and believes are endless.. maybe in a way..we make our own heaven, our own hell, our own existance. In anycase..very neat stuff to think about.
