Thread: June 8th 2004 Dream Sharing

I would like to Switch I really would. But how do you make yourself believe somthing if you do not. Trying to believe somthing is in a sense trying to brainwash yourself. No? ---I need more to believe.

explain further...really, if it is true that these planets affect the way we dream or whatever, then they will do so regardless of belief in it (ie you can get struck by lightning even if, for some reason, you dont believe in it)

I believe in shared dreaming of course, but I think such things simply dont happen at will, regardless of whatever conditions, unless you are some uber master of dreams and dreamwalking(or have a natura ability to it with closely related people). So no I dont think the planets could help us to dreamwalk at that particular date, the power to dreamwalk comes from your heart, from your soul, and perhaps even from faith, so it might help, if your truely believe, but believing in a God or Goddess to help you would be just as effective(more effective in my eyes)

Big chunks of rock would rather block your 'signal' then amplify it, I'd say.
But its an interesting story anyway, since the egyptians and many other ancient civilisations have very strange stories, drawings and statues, and various other signs that could be linked to "Extra terrestrials", such as boxes of granite cut so accurate and precise that we this day cannot reproduce them... I love reading/hearing about those stories, though ofcourse i'm sceptical.... We'll just have to see.

Dunno, I've heard that the airplanes flying above your head exert more influence on you than the planets.

The configuration of planes over O'Hare in Chicacgo is supposed to affect your love life.

We'll just have to wait for the date to happen to be sure of anything. I can't really say what I do not know, and whether I believe it real or not is irrelevant to the fact that it may or may not happen...

I'll try to keep the date in mind and who knows, I might fall asleep and meet up with all you crazy bastards. If it doesn't happen then, Oh well...no harm no foul. As simple as that....

Well belief has such a powerful effect on whether these things work. My guess is that the egyptians believed it and thats why it helped.
Still sounds like a massive occurence even for a bunch of fanatics.

And as mentioned already.. 'making' yourself believe it is nothing short of brainwashing.

I would also like more information on this... sigh... will use the great google.. or is it elgoog...
