Any guess at what this is?

I've had this thing happen to me several times now. A few minutes after, or at least I think a few minutes (could happen right when) I fall asleep, all of the sudden my consciousness will wake up. It's like I was knocked out before and just woke up. The thing is my bodies still asleep. I usually feel vibrations and sleep paralysis. I have this feeling like I'm about to leave my body, but I always get scared and force myself awake, usually by taking a huge breath. I've always wanted to stick with it til the end, but the one time I did I felt this strange click throughout my body and this feeling of fear washed over me. The thing is though, after I wake myself up, it happens again and again every time I fall asleep. It's almost a series of the same thing. It makes sleep tough to get sometimes, so I'm hoping somebody has an idea what it is.

I experience something very much like it alot, it usually happens when I wake up in the middle of the night, most of the times directly after another lucid dream. But to me, its a great feeling, its a feeling of freedom, a feeling of release, being able to spread out my wings.

I dont feel my body anymore, I feel asif Im pure energy and just..take off, it feels really great, though I admit it was scary at first, but it feels nice, and it gets you in another dream/astral plane =)

You'll get used to it, you just have to let go and not think to much, try not think, especially not with your brain, but feel =) With your soul, and float along with it, until you can spread out those wings ^_^
