      The Bermuda Triangle

Ohh man im sure this has been discussed here before, but i havent found a thread yet so i decided i would make a thread, and maybe make a discussion out of it.

I recently (about a month ago) watched the movie / tv 3-part series of the movie "The Triangle". Very good watch, if your interested in a 6 hour or so movie, with great features and real in depth studies.

From the movie, they talk about how a rift in time appears there, and that there is storms that are "invisible" to all electronic devices. therefor, everyone who goes into the BT get trapped in a storm, and get caught in this rift or tear in time. This tear, brings old planes that get caught in it, (or boats or birds or what ever) and puts them into a time in the future, or into a time in the past. making them crash in the future. This explains the theory of never finding a ship. Although that is all the movie says (not all of what the movie itself says, just the logical part). i wont share the ending or any spoilers, because i feel people should watch this movie.

Anyway, after watching i got interested in the Bermuda Triangle. Is this a logical thing? i also watched a short clip after the movie about a team of explorers who found a plane that was said to have crashed many years ago. and a full documentry was published and then written into a short movie clip.

Anyhow, there has been many things going on about the Triangle, and i wanted to know what you guys think. Do you think there is a weird experence in this triangle? what do you guys have to say about it? and what theorys can you produce?

Sure I suppose there's probably something going on with that area of the world that we don't know about. Just like area 51. No one knows what's there, only that the government shoots people who try to enter. Who knows what's up with this. Heh.

Anyone ever hear of the Hutchinson Effect? A canadian mad scientist by the name of John Hutchinson has an assortment of electrical equipment that produces strange effects that are strikingly similar the the anomalies reported in the bermuda triangle.

It's a good story anyways, and there is lots video footage of it. Worth googling.

There have been a few reports including 1 of a woman in a plane that saw strange things happening and something about things looking pristine then the connection died and the last talk she ever had to them.

ya i mean, if people can perform psychic abbilities, then there has to be something out there that can perform other things too. and who knows, maybe area 51 and the bermuda triangle arent the only things that makes things go weird. maybe there is things that people havent encounterd, or that they have and wont share.

as for the hutchinson effect, i will google it after this. i think in the movie i watched, it talked about this effect for a second or two.

and lucidflanders, thats what the story was based upon in "The Triangle". pretty much, if people can see planes and stuff, that are from 1942 or what ever, and they are flieng and look un damaged, maybe the story was right.

maybe the triangle has a effect in time travel, do you guys know of anything that could take place for a human to time travel like this? (without the BT of course >_< )

Fascinating stories come out of the Bermuda Triangle. Hard to believe all those different, yet similar, experiences are merely a coincidence.

I've never considered the possibility of a tear in time. That is an interesting an intriguing concept. Anything's possible, I guess, unless it's proven otherwise.

bingo. i think that anything that has been stated in the bermuda triangle has reason to be true. i recently heard more news though, about a occurence in the triangle.

apparently, there are islands in the triangle (i dont remember what they were named) but they show a very strong resemblance to the florida keys. there talked of a pilot who was navigating some other planes, and when flying over these islands, he (and he did not have a map or whatever planes use to tell them where there at) thought he was flying over the florida keys. When doing this, he navigates himself eastward, to get back to florida. but, the islands he was really flying over, where about 20 miles east of florida keys, and so he was navigating back out to sea even further. as these planes did not have great gas, he began to get worried about this. he was traveling and thought to himself that if he saw the keys, then he would be going directly tward florida. but he thought he might have flown to far, and traveld back westward. he did this for a while, but he was already well out to sea. after he saw that florida was no were in sight, he began to fly eastward again. although, if he had kept flying westward, he would have eventually found florida (he was short by about 10-15 miles of florida). a recent scientist found these other islands, and began doing research. he calculated the exact spot that the flyer should have been to. (how he did this, im still not certain). on his decent under the water, he did indeed find a plane. but, the mysterious thing was, he only found one plane. not the others werent there. thers two reasonable explaintions, 1. they all flew on in hopes of finding land, and crashed more further twards the sea or 2. the bermuda triangle had its effect on them.

just thought you guys might want to hear a tid bit about ive gatherd

Well something obviously happens there. I was talking to a guy who used to be navy and all he said was there are tons of ships dormant unable to start. There is also this lake in Japan or something that supposidly makes things mysteriously dissapear.

i havent heard of the japan one, but ya i can guess weird things go on in that triangle. for some reason, the though about invisible storms kinda gets to me. i think it could very well be true, like if a storm is a "weird" storm, like the atoms or what ever makes them up, are weird, it could disquise itself from the raidars. the biggest thing though, there are supposed to be magnetic feilds in the triangle, so what if these make storms weird like that? it would be interesting to see a storm in the triangle, a huge massive storm that grows quickly due to magnetization, and if you flick on a tv station, there is nothin on the raidars. (infact, i dont remember seeing anything down on that part of the us anyway, normally just hurricanes but, never storms. i could just be not paying attention, but i will start to now)
