      Subconscious Communication

Ok, well I know this sounds really far fetched but I wanted to try it out. I read an article about being able to communicate with your subconscious. http://psipog.net/art-communicating-with-subc.html

In that article they link to an article found here: http://www.robertpeterson.org/chap10.html

If you took the time to read both of those you either think both of those people are just losing their mind, or it sounds rather interesting. I decided to try and do this.

I've successfully established a link with my subconscious (named Mike). I can actually basically talk to Mike. It's very strange. But he only talks when I talk to him.

How do I know that it's actually my subconscious I'm talking too and not something I'm just making up off the top of my head?

Test him out, for example the way i examined my subconcous was :
During my last week of school i had a french pretest .....i failed it and got 8/30

The next day i had the real exam... so i asked my subconscious to help me out with this exam... so the exam was abcd as usual, so i told my subconcious to help me out with this..

After i received my marks i was shocked.. its the first time that i got 28/30 (90&#37 on a French ABCD exam.
I had other similar stuff going on after that , but what can i say its damn real for me

What does it feel like when you "talk" to your subconcious. For me it's just thinking a line and then the first thing that comes to my head I attempt to translate into a sentence. It feels just like I'm making something up but some of the stuff that "he" says seems way to different then how I talk and my word choice.

Like today for example I was looking for a word somewher between to promote and praise, or something along those lines and I just couldn't think of the word that would fit so I asked Mike. Mike said exalt. I had no idea what exalt even meant until I looked it up 2 minutes ago and I was shocked to see this definition...

Definitions of exalt on the Web:

      * laud: praise, glorify, or honor; "extol the virtues of one's children"; "glorify one's spouse's cooking"
I almost pooped myself I was so shocked. The definition of exalt is the exact meaning I was looking for. I still can't believe it.

But still, how can I tell the difference between Mike talking and something I'm just making up.

Bit off topic lol but one of my favo lucid dreams is summoning a black book, let it float in the air before me! Then say the words "Subconsciousness show me what you want" and then I see the most creative things from movies to symbols to views of landscapes etc Its always something else. So i can't predict what I will see this time. Sometimes when the view in the book is a beautiful nature spot I command to enlarge the black book, step into it and then I am there.

One time I saw for example a beautiful lagoon, I enlarged the book and stepped through it and was there at that lagoon. Then i meditated there for 15 min or so and I woke up. Awsome!

Many ways to communicate with your subconsciousness!

LucidApple, how wonderful! I love the idea of your subconscious book, enlarging the picture it shows you and then stepping inside!

I also like your avatar (is "Jeff" your first name)?

Thanks Clairity! Yes, Jeff is my first name, lol its a joke to put my name in the eye, i also have a version without it.

Yes, my subconscious book is one of my favorites cause you always get something original and creative. One time It showed me a movie and I really had no clue how the plot was going or ending, was really entertaining, bit like being at the movies.

I wish I had the patience to do these kinds of things, but i'm one of those people who can't do anything if I don't get it my first try. (lucid dreaming was different, since I had done it before, but actually I had my first lucid dreama day after joining so...) It is rather a problem, I'm really really good at the things I actualy do do, but the stuff I don't do, I will never be able too =(.

I've been talking with my subconscious since I was 3 years old. It took the form of an imaginary friend, and as a grew older became more of a "second voice" in my head. When I'm alone I talk to my subconscious and it answers back, and with its help I'm able to solve many problems and think of many interesting theorys. My subconscious is my best friend.

So your subconscious actually talks like a voice in your head or do you have to do the entrie translation method of talking the feeling, emotions, and memories you get and making them into words??

Does your subconscious talk without being talked too?

If you were to see a subliminal message, would you be able to ask your subconscious what that message said?

That's really cool that your able to communicate like that. I really wish I could. I explained everything about subconscious communication to a good friend of mine and he is very doubtful of it and is kind of thinking that I'm going crazy. :p

Lol I agree. It is probably fun to have a "voice" in your head, but in all seriousness, your probably losing your mind if you hear voices...and you don't think your just imagining it.

a reason that you can only hear it when your asking it questions is because you only concentrate enough at those times. you should keep up your work at lisening to it, try to give it free rage for a wile like ask it to say what ever it wants or whatnot.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but i have poor motivation so do you have any tips and can you tell me what your proses to get this connection

eventually the translation posses should become second nature but you should be weary of mistranslation because it you get in the habit of mistranslating it then it will become a problem

      Thumbs up The 3 - 2 - 1 Method?

      What a great thread!

I came across a meditation method recently, for accessing the subconscious, called the 3,2,1 method - I don't know if anyone's heard of it?

It's very simple, you just relax of course, with eyes closed, then take a deep breath, and as you exhale, see (and say in your mind) the number 3 three times, then relax from scalp all the way down your body. Then do the same with the number 2. Then see a tranquil scene. Then do the same with the number 1, and then count backwards from 10 to 1, which takes you deeper, slowing your brainwaves.

Right then, you are able to communicate with your subconscious (if you're still conscious lol - it took me a while to do this and still be a awake when I reached 1 )

      I've found it Fabulous

This stuff is really interesting. I had actually read that entire ebook and found it fascinating. In the first article it mentioned the professor having to make the fianl optional, well in French there was a quiz that I really didn't want to take and remembered stuff like this and tried to make it so we didn't have to take it and it just so happened that our teacher moved it to the next day. Coincidence, maybe but we tried to talk her out of others and she never moved them.

I don't really talk to my subconscious in this way, but I'm gonna start doing it more. One thing I do though is to interview myself. I've always done it and it's actually pretty fun. Basically I pretend like I'm explaining stuff to others and then ask myself more questions, but alot of the time the questions just come without me thinking, maybe the reverse of the stuff here. Maybe my subconscious is quizzing me to make me understand more and to show me what I don't know. I do this alot in the shower during the school year and it really helps to focus and show me what I need to study more and to help me build connections. Hopefully I can get some psychic experiences to help me out too.

I'd love to learn to talk with my subconcious.
I don't understand how I could "wait" for an answer. I don't think I feel anything..

EDIT: I found this link on beginning to communicate with your subconscious: http://www.geohanover.com/docs/pendulum2.htm

So if i understand it all the subconscious mind can only understand what im saying, if i send images or emotions, feelings. And he responds with emotions or pictures. And i have to translate the emotions or feeling into words, right? I have bought the book TheGenieWithing with Harry W carpenter im stuck in lesson 5. I have to ask my subconscious mind what his name is. I don't get any respond. I mayby have to make my sentence to emotions or images?

I don't mind sharing since this thread was started. It's weird...i've been communicating with my "subconscious/higher-self/inner-voice" for quite some time now...and it always says things that are a stretch beyond my normal comprehension level or advises me to do things that jabs at my pride every so often. It hasn't steered me wrong yet...and it's not an overbearing voice...sometimes I won't hear it for days and i'll ask it "Why don't you talk much anymore?" to which it'll reply "I'll speak when you're ready to listen." Just things like that. It's pretty cool lol ever since the "link was established" my awareness has gone through the roof.

Oneironaut_Jeff777, may I ask what happened to "establish" this link? Was there a particular event that occurred?

lol thanks I was going through some emotional and self-esteem struggles on a new job I started working at almost a year ago. So this inner voice would coach me and advise me the necessary procedures to step outside of my comfort zone. Like I remember one particular occurence was that I was pacing the floor one day at work...and a very paranoid coworker said it disturbed him, so he told me to stop. I felt I had every right to pace the floor if I wanted to because I had to stand up for about 8 hours a day. Then I consulted with my inner voice and I said "I'm right, I know I am, I don't have to stop pacing because it disturbs him" then my inner voice said "If you wanted to be right, you could have looked in the mirror and agreed with yourself all day, you came to this job with the purpose of enhancing your social skills, don't forget that." So I stopped pacing the floor. Just things of that nature...it's not really words that come, it's a feeling that i've learned to translate into words on the spot, I don't know if that helps or not, I hope so.

i believe we all have a subconcious mind and its easy to access, i can communicate with my subconcious mind and i do this by meditation, its easier than it sounds and i believe meditation was explained above some place, my subconcious calls itself 'mactabilis' which confused me, so i looked it up and its latin for deadly. This was really worrying me now. As usual everyday at 4;30 i would meditate for half and hour or longer but i can talk with my subconcious almost like some-one else inside me

At first i thouhgt it was voices in my head but it was talking like some-one else, im not sure if it is my subconcious.I hope it is otherwise my brain is screwed

Maybe it's our spirit guides and maybe it's our subconscious. However it's very interesting and I want to learn this too.

To you guys who say you can speak to your subconscious, do you actually hear a clear inner voice?
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

I asked my subconscious mind to move any of my fingers nothing happened. I have tried this many times. I have tried to make images and emotion lol but my fingers are still not moving.
