sleep paralysis this morning?

hey, i had this weird experience this morning. i might have been in sleep paralysis, but i will recall what happened: i was lying in my dorm room, my body felt heavy and at peace, and i could slightly open my left eye, and i could barely open my right eye. i could also barely lift my head off of my pillow. i glanced around my dorm room and noticed that my roommate and his friend werent there, but then i heard his friend say hi to me. they started to ask me about something, but i changed the subject and wanted them to come over to me, to nudge me to try to wake me. i was debating wether or not this could be a dream, i thought it was real. i then tried again, to open up my eyes and raise my head off of my pillow. the next moment i was awake, and i glanced over and saw my friends where they should be, unlike the dream. any thoughts as to wether this was paralysis, or just a dream? maybe a combo of both?

It sound like a combo. sleep paralysis happens when you are just waking up, and it is very often mixed with the end of the dream, and with hypnagogic hallucinations.

in my opinion this was a dream.. because in my cases.. . i can normally open my eyes at full range.. but i cant move anything.. except the little finger on my foot.. to break the SP ..
