Moving While Being Astral

Today, when i had an Astral Projection off of a nap, i realized that when i tried to move, it was very very hard to. I have had a sinus infection, and that is why i havent been on here much, but would that cause my energy body to be so weak that when i went into AP, it would be so hard to move?

For my example, when i was lifted and i could see when my eyes where shut, i just simply moved my leg, and it was a hell of a time to get it from 2 feet from its original point. Of course my real leg was in the same spot, but the feeling of my leg moving was very real, and very tough. Then i moved my arms to pull myself up but i couldnt get my body to sit up, i just kinda layed there looking like a floppy fish trying to get up.

Does anyone else have this? And has anyone else overcome this? Just kinda weird to me, maybe it is because im sick, but heck who knows.

I think it was because you are sick and low on energy.

Just the other day I had a similar problem where it became very hard for me to move because I was having a hard time breathing and getting enough oxygen! I was sleeping in a difficult position that obstructed my breathing a little, and this made it that much more harder for me to have energy to move while I was just beginning my OBE - I had no choice but to wake up immediately because I felt like I was suffocating a little.

I think it's a lot easier for the soul to exit the body when the body is functioning at optimal level, and when the oxygen path is not obstructed and there is a healthy and deep flow of it coming in.

I don't really believe, but assuming AP does exists, I would presume this.. inhibition might be a survival reflex - your body saying "i'm not well, take care of me" or something like that. After all, while out-of-body (or asleep) you're pretty damn vulnerable...

Ya, it was just the sickness. After reading around ive found that anything that makes you feel sick or gets your body to be to a point of exaustion (sp?) that its not supposed to go to, the also effects the Energy Body. So it acts the same. Oh well.
