Astral projection is the ability to leave your body. Everyone leaves their body at night, but before they do leave, they have to put the physical mind to sleep. Most people don't remember this, but when the physical mind is asleep, the subconscious takes over, and this is usually when you do your astral projection.
Or just shared dreaming.
with that it really only proves that we can communicate telepathically and you have to take into account the phrase 'seeing is beliveing' which pretty much says, in this situation, that if you cant see how it works then its unlikely you will believe in the specifics and complexity of whats happening. dream sharing just doesn't give enough insite into whats going on.
Wow this can be a flame war about to happen.
AP is working on to be proved at this time, if i find any links proving it i will tell you.
But if you want to get a good understanding of AP, go to www.astraldynamics.com ;)
It should be easy to prove AP. Get someone to hide something in a certain place. Get the other person to AP and go and look in that place. See if the APer correctly identifies the hidden object. Simple.
This was not an, "Is astral projection real?" thread.
Seeing as such, i would be assuming that posters in it, would believe in it, or just be here to disagree.
You want to argue, create a thread in relation to the topic and debating it.
It'll get replies.
Though, in here, most people believe that it is real. You will find yourself unwelcome to provoke anything other than the topic says, particularly, if it is in direct conflict with the beginning idea.
AP, is leaving your physical body.
It is considered a higher state of consciousness, than existing on a physical level.
Dreaming, (not Lucid) is considered a lower level of consciousness, than being "awake".
