Had a a terrifying dream, would lke opinions.

So, I have a history of precognitive dreams, and other odd and disturbing dreams, but I had a dream last night that terrified me, because I couldn't/can't tell whether or not it was real.

I dreamed that I was being held like an infant, one arm under my knees and one behind my shoulders supporting my head. I then felt as though I was being turned/rolled over until I was no longer on my bed, but also not falling to the floor. After realizing that I should have fallen and didn't, I turned my head, and saw an old woman, she was the one holding me. She was skinnny, gray haired and wearing a yellow shirt. After I saw her, I bolted fully awake and could not fall back asleep, or even move from my bed, I was so afraid. The reason I say that I son't know if I was dreaming or not is because I can clearly remember the pressure of her hands on me, and she looked so real, I felt like I could have touched her.

So, looking for your opinions, your interpretations, or even just your comforts, thank you very much in advance.

Don't worry, it was a dream. I have felt like my whole body was rolling down a hill before and of course it wasn't.

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Dreams can seem very real, especially when you wake up in the midst of them. Same with hypnagogia but, aye, that quote cloudWalker presented is the same as my position.
Real or illusion, however, just remember: the chances that someone (any person, any being) would have any intent to harm you without any logical connection to you are next to nothing.

      Agreed...

'A Dream Within A Dream' -by Edgar Allan Poe.

Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
      Thus much let me avow
You are not wrong, who deem
      That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

      I stand amid the roar
      Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
      Grains of the golden sand
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
      While I weep - while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
      Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
      One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
