Did I astral project?

Alright i'm back guys. Anyways.

When I was having a hard time sleeping one night a few nights ago. I decided to turn over to my back. Right at that time I had a WERID feeling. I felt like I was going down slowly and was being forced into a dream while still awake, but I felt like I was floating up and down. I finaly tried to ge tup being freaked out. But my arms where out and my body was up too. But it was all dark and I can see my hands where blueish clear...and I felt like I was floating and all kinds of junk. I couldn't move my body and when I finaly did I was freaked out; Because I could of done it at will. I still can...I never tried it again. But what do you think happend? All I wanted to do was go to sleep..

Did I astral projected on accident? or what happend?

sounds like sleep paralysis while entering a LD. I've read many LD's from ppl where they start in their body and feel like they float from it. This isn't astral projection. The only way to prove AP is to verify it in the waking world. Some people claim an astral body can influence the real world. so to set up a test you would need try and effect something. Move an object or go lie down in some nearby tall grass. and then see those in your waking life.

Sounds intresting. What makes this really werid was the physcal touches. When I was going through this stage was the werid feeling of (dying) per say. Since I neve rgone through this before and it was so right away I wasn't sure if I should experiment with it or not with a fer of maybe posibley not waking up. When I thought I was out of my body; I felt the walls sort of and can FEEL it. Even though my body was physicaly going to sleep. So I thought that was werid. I kind of figured it was most likely a LD, but with the floating and all I thought it was astral protection. I want to try it again tonight, should I expect anything out of this? I want to try to claim the feeling of not waking up. It was intresting but I wasn't sure what it was. So I waked up.

On an update, I learned to LD at will. Not sure if its a big thing or anything, but its pretty cool! =D I learned to LD for at least about 20 minutes or longer.

cool stuff! i remember reading somewhere a sensation of death is accompanied by and astral body experience. keep it up. sound like you're a natural.

Thanks, on a new note. On my recent LD dreaming. I had a WERID realistic terrorable dream about tornados. I mean it was in the city, there was 7 tornados, each showing like half of a vortex. It was a giant tornado with MANY vortexs in it. I will make a new topic asking if this means anything. I LD dream while dong this, but got so scared and it looked so realistic I didn't dare go near the thing. it truely scared me. This mght be my last post inside this topic
