the importance of dreams?

for the past few months i have disappeared from dreamviews (if anyone has noticed) because i thought it got to the point where i was relying too much on the metaphysical world and not the physical enough.... this invovled me doing many physical exercises and getting into better shape.....

also i attempted to continue my interest in "dreams" by trying to see the limits of this world in comparison to the dream world....this envolved looking more deeply into philosophical concepts such as chi and stuff, and the more i look into it the more i come back to dreams....

it seems that the nature of dreams are so mysterious that we have no idea what they are or where they come from, and that if we were able to answer these questions then more questions such as what is real would be closer to answering.....

what do u all think????? how important are dreams in answering the big questions, and how much do we need to merge them with the physical world to ahieve a "perfect state"
