      Dream Sharing/Entering

OK. People don't beleive that it's possible to share dreams with somebody, then wake up, and both people remember the same dream. But I definetley(how the f*** do you spell that?) think it's possible. Also, I think you are able to enter someone elses dream and then they remember it when they wake up.

But how do you do it? I find my friends in dreams, then tell them that they're dreaming. But what do I do next? I beleive there is some technique to do it. Please tell me how to do it!!!!!

If you believe in dream sharing and entering someone else's dreams, it's not that simple. If you meet your friend in a dream, it's a dream character; a representation of your friend in your own dream.

If you really believe in the ability to enter someone else's dreams, and truly believe it, just will yourself into their dream. After, ask your friend what they dreamt about (without telling them anything about what you were trying to do) and if it's the exact same thing you dreamt/saw, there you go.

Yeah. I tried to do it with my friend. I told him that I would meet him in the dream and tell him a password so that when we both woke up, he could tell me the password to see if he was there. It didn't work cause he never went to sleep. Oh well...

I myself think that it is a impossible thing to do. i would love to be proven wrong though, some people do have greater esp than other. maybe a greater sense of the spirtiutal *world* and realitly is a good step in that direction

Its possible, the problem is that your dealing with a non material space. So how big exatly is a place that dosent exist physically?

Freekin big, I'm going with infinite.

So its no easy task to find anyone you know in this space. If you really want to experiment I would get some one really close. I would say some one you call a kindred spirit or a soul mate. Meditate together on a sort of mental life line to each other If its strong enough mebby it will last when you pass into dream and mebby you will have the recall to remember the events in enough detail. Also to ensure validity a third party to get individual accounts.

It aint easy, nor is it probable but it happens.

Another technique you could attempt to do is - if you're capable of lucid dreaming, imagine a triangle shaped picture of the person/friend whose dream you want to enter. Imagine fog to be around the triangle and on the floor. When you walk toward the triangle, try and put as much mental force as possible - actually believing that you are entering your friends dreams. Then, as you do this, attempt to walk through the picture. The scene should change accordingly as you step through.

What if 2 people had a mutual crush on each other? Is that enough of a connection?

Because I was teaching a friend to lucid dream, and how to remember dreams, getting him started, so the next day he tells this girl (who has a crush on him, who also has a crush on her) about it, and she tells him about shared dreams. He doesn't really believe her.

That night my friend dreamed that he was slow dancing with her. The next day, the girl comes up to him and explains the same dream to him, and uh, he's shocked. They even had the same song playing. Possible shared dream?

This was just yesterday by the way.

Either that or a couincidence. People here at DV have had weird stuff happening to them in dreams, not SD though.

To know it was a shared dream you will also have to be mega good at the dream journal and remembering every single bit of detail, unless it's a "perspective" thing then, if so then you will never ever know.

Just an advise - if you're trying to practise shared dreaming on someone (i dont know if this is real thing at all), you will probably do better with someone, which has good dream recall.
