Thread: Guardian angels

Define forced - as in physically held back as if something was literally holding you but invisible - or you got the feeling of "Don't move" and you reacted to the command?

Possibilities could be your subconscious or help from a spirit guide/angel helped you.

I don't beleive in them. Although, I think everyone has that "spider sense" where they just know something's wrong.

i dont know how to describe it but it just felt like i couldnt move

DCs can impersonate anything/anybody you want in an LD: friends, dead relatives, angels, demons, celebrities etc etc.. including "guardian angels" and "dream guides". They're all DCs though, just impersonating.

I think these moments, are intuition.

Intuition, being the guiding hara...

I don't know the souls of dead people proecting you. Still, there could be something there to prevent us dying before we're meant to. And when you're meant to die it doesn't help you anymore.

Castaneda was in a field with his master, Don Juan.

Don Juan said to his disciple,
"You simply believe in the inner guide and start running."

It was dangerous. It was a hilly track, unknown, with trees, bushes, abysses. He could fall anywhere. Even in the daylight he had to be alert walking there, and at night everything was dark.

He could not see anything and his master said,
"Don't walk, run!"

It was simply suicidal. Castaneda became scared... but his master ran.

He ran off like a wild animal, and returned to his disciple, running back.
Castaneda, could not understand how his master was doing it.
Not only was he running in this darkness, but each time he came running directly to him, as if he could see.

Then by and by... Castaneda gathered courage.
If this old man could do this, why not he?

He tried, and by and by he felt an inner light coming in.
Then he started running.

No, I don't believe in guardian angels. I do believe in angels, but I don't think people have guardian angels.

I do think that we have a psychic part in our brain, which could be the subconscious, that knows things we can't know with our standard senses. And if we are about to do something that will get us badly hurt or killed, it will take control of our body temporarily and stop us. Just like killing yourself. It can often be extremely hard, because your body won't let you do it. Or at least will try to stop you.
