I seem to have stumbled upon when attempting to have a WILD. I basically made the mistake of trying to just hop into bed and try a WILD. That's supposedly not how you're supposed to do it - you must sleep like 5-6 hours and then try it. But anyways, I just relaxed and laid there still. I thought about relaxing, focusing...all with my eyes closed. Then colors started flashing, like when you press against your eyes. My eyes then started vibrating, pulsating.

Then my legs started vibrating, then my arms, and I had a weightless, falling sensation. Like I was just lying there on nothing. Then it suddenly went away. I mistook it for the beginnings of a WILD and claimed success here. But I was told it was most likely an OBE. Haven't been able to replicate it since.

As I posted in the other thread, you can crash into a solid object while having a lucid dream, then just before impact you will be out of the body. I have only tried it three of four times. The first one I found myself back in my body, half-way out at the waist. I could see my room and my body felt vibrations. The other times I returned to my body before impact, and could see my room with my eyes closed but didn't actually leave the body.

As I have read about it, the key is to generate vibrations and let them sweep through your body. At that time you have entered your energy body and will either just pop out or you will need to use a technique, such as imagining yourself already out and looking at your sleeping body.

Is there anything else to that? I tried that in a lucid dream once. When I hit the wall I blacked out and lost conciousness. When I woke up I was still in the same dream and was going to try it again, but I think I woke up or something that got me distracted.

The only two opportunities for me to oobe is while lucid. I've read it gets easier the more you do it. I want to eventually travel outside of the body and use this gift to help other people.

No, that's not an OBE. It's very different from dreaming.
