Choking Hazard?

Well that saves me some typing.
Didn't think so.
And typing "no" would have been shorter than typing "Well that saves me some typing."
:]
Or not typing anything at all would have been the shortest.
Yeh, it also would have been shorter than typing out that I also find the term "supernatural" to be a term that inherently describes something that isn't real. If something is real, it's part of nature. That it is strange or not yet explained is inconsequential and shouldn't earn it the title of "supernatural". But it's pretty apparent that "supernatural" things are only those which are about ghosts and magick and other elements of fantasy and myths, since there are real things which are strange and unexplained which we don't label as such.
Why risk it?
Why risk what? You've got as high of a chance of being invaded by ghosts from a pair of shoes.
My loafers sure cast a hefty shadow.
How ominous! Have you considered exorcism? I always dip all my footwear (even socks!) in holy water as a precaution. I wouldn't want to risk it, after all.
Dipping my socks in holy water would give me blisters.
suxtobeme.
It would burn my feet. Anything holy makes me burn, i guess because my number is 666.
I wouldnt use one, my gran did once and the dog started violently barking at the ceiling and its eyes where following something, she then burn it in the fire.
Ill say this-
I am not a medium, nor will I claim to be. When I use a Ouija board alone, I get nothing. With people that have no clue, get everyone together and have one person not touching ask a question. Something no one touching the board would know.
A siblings birthday or middle name could be good bets, even your own birthday if you know they dont know it.
If someone in that group has ability as a medium, someone/something will likely respond. Its iffy at best whether or not they will answer you, and Im not going to lie and pretend they will.
Some people also have very very negative reactions to using a Ouija board, becoming physically ill or getting headaches, possibly worse.
In a group with no one having (innate) skill as a medium, its just a toy.
If someone has some innate ability to communicate, there is a good chance you will get a response. Sometimes it takes a few hours even with someone who is a medium.
Key point- You have no idea what comes through to 'talk' with you, and have no control over it. Dont call up what you cant put down.
Meaning, if you just want to play with it because it sounds cool; the only safe thing is to leave it alone.
Its very much like a gun, in some respects. Things go wrong, people can and have got hurt. Unlike a gun, it is not your finger on the 'trigger', it is whatever comes through.
Use with caution, if you use one at all.
if you use the board properly then all goes well, if you dont you get some wacked up stuff
I don't think its a good idea to play around with it. I have before when I was younger out of curiosity of what's on the other side, but it wasn't a good decision of mine. Like the others before me have said, it can attract bad things. And bad spirits are more common than good spirits on this realm. I also played:
A candle game - you put a candle on the middle of a piece of paper with a design similar to the ouija board. Wherever the shadow is cast is what the answer is. This isn't reliable since there is bound to be some wind anywhere you go.
A pen game - you lai a pen upright, with the writing part facing down on a paper with a design similar to the ouija board and support it between your thumb and index finger. Wherever the pen starts going, you follow it and keep supporting it. My experience with this freaked me out. The last time I played (over 10 years ago), the pen was spinning as it was moving around. I can see how the pen might move a bit when you're supporting it, but not spin like it was.
Now, on my last experience with the ouija board (about 8 years ago, when I was 16) this is what happened:
I was at a friends house at night, with 3 other friends. He decided to pull out the board and mess around with it. Me and another girl that I barely knew were the ones holding the scope thing, while the others were covering our eyes (and I mean, really covering it), and another guy would spell out wherever the scope landed.
In the beginning nothing happened, but after a minute or two, the scope started moving pretty slow and my friend started spelling out whatever it landed on. We were asking pretty mundane questions, and then we asked for it to show proof that it was real. The scope then started moving to spell out something else.
I can't remember exactly what it was spelled, but the girl that was playing stood up in extreme shock and awe, almost started crying, and said she didn't want to play it anymore. I was a bit confused, but then she said:
"That is what my dad used to call me by." Her dad had been dead for a few years.
True story. :?
spiritual people would advice against one. ouija boards invite spirits into your home. except you have no control over who these spirits are and why they are in your home.
think of bad spirits like viruses. a virus is not good for you physical body. a bad spirit is not good for your energy field (chakras). like a virus is a to a body, a bad spirit feeds off of you. in the thought-manifestation spiritual belief, viruses and diseases can be physical manifestations of bad spirits (a physical warning that something is wrong on a spiritual level).
which was why in Jesus time, illness and demons were one and the same thing. and why some diseases can't be cured through physical means, because the cause is on a spiritual level out-picturing itself onto the physical (depression)
if you understand how the chakras (spiritual energy) is also apart of the physical body, then you can understand how some illness on a chakra level manifests into something physical
like some virus sapping your spiritual energy, the only affect can be lack of energy. tiredness. stress. feeling down. feeling heavy and so on. so im not talking about mind control here. thing is, you might not even realize that you are lacking energy, because your energy can be being sapped for many years. imagine having a hangover for years. you don't realize you have had a hangover until its gone.
anyways, your chakras and your spiritual energy is precious. without you lack the energy and focus to live out your dreams. so don't let bad boogies plug and consume your energy :D so stay away from things that invite any sort of spirit
Spiritualist don't believe in bad spirits, it's all they come in love, and anything and eveyrthing they do is love. I should know, i used to post on a spiritualist board for 6 months when my dog died (psychics.co.uk).
I wouldn't say that. Perhaps SOME spiritualists don't believe in bad spirits, but some certainly do.
Newton's laws apply to some degree in the Nagual as well as the Tonal; "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." There is negative energy and spirit just as much as there is positive and we can be influenced and acted upon by both.
A ouija board is somewhat like a radio without any numbers on the dial. You pick up broadcasts, but have no idea what station you're tuned into. What's more, most people who use a Ouija board have no idea even what the "dial" is. Therefore, not only do they not know what station they're listening to, they don't even know how they got to it in the first place.
Ouija boards are no more or less dangerous than any other unguided or unlearned attempt to communicate with Spirit or spirits. Without the assistance of someone who knows the paths, it's all a craps shoot; you roll the dice and take your chances.
I'm not sure what you mean by Spiritualists. Unless "Spiritualists" follow a different doctrine or belief than the Spirit's Book, by Allan Kardec. The Spirit's Book "remains the most important spiritist" book and it clearly talks about bad spirits and their influence in our every day life.
I will say this as politely as I can-
Yes, some people believe that only good things exist in this world, and by thinking only good thoughts their lives will be filled with happiness and rainbows.
Yes, there are groups of people that come together to discuss similar ideas.
But, you are wrong when you say all of them believe this. I, for one, do not.
Loophole would be people calling themselves spiritualists based on a book, etc. But you mention none of this in your post.
