Just a question from a beleiverbutthinkingOBEsarejustluciddreamsguy

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I've had OBEs but I think they're just crazy LDs. Well this is aimed mainly at those who are thinking along those lines, I don't want some answer like "Well that's obvious because you're consciousness is actually out of your body!". You never know maybe I'll prove myself wrong someday but not now OK.

My question is, if we assume that OBEs are just lucid dreams from SP this means you consciously know you should be in your room before you start to dream. This creates the illusion of leaving your body, and vibrations occur as your tactile sense transfers from reality to dream. Okey dokey, but what about these:

1) Sudden unexplained blindness
2) Random queer things like seeing through walls
3) Silver cord and seeing own body (never happened in my own OBEs)
4) Apparent mutual dreaming in OBEs i.e. meeting "real" other travellers
5) Astral sex, which I've heard is quite odd
6) Sourceless voices
7) Zero emotion in some
8) Vibrations themselves if someone says my theory about them is not true

All of these are things which never seem to happen in "normal" lucid dreams, so what would make OBEs any different? Except for number 4 that's a different field altogether, let's stick to the individual. Could anybody say how these strange things occur when they don't in normal dreams?

My only explanation is this: When I have OBEd in the morning the environment is just like a lucid dream, but when I have OBEd in the middle of the night everything is chuffing weird! This could be because all of your dreams in the earlier sleep stages make no sense, you just don't remember them.

Any other ideas?
