Share Your Sychronistic Experiences!

Alright, I just wanted to share this with you guys...because it's a perfect example of synchronicity currently at work in my life.

-The story-

A friend I've made online through business dealings mentioned to me that I should try my hand pmc (precious metal clay), since I already work with polymer clay. PMC is fantastic, because it's just like clay but is full of silver (or gold) particles, and when you fire it in a kiln or with a torch the binder burns off and you're left with PURE silver (or gold). It's rather expensive...but after reading about it, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I'm tired of making cheap clay charms, and am ready to move onto bigger and better things. Like silver, gold, and working with gemstones.

Anyways, she gave me a link to this website that sells pmc silver clay and every pmc supply you might need. I went and ordered silver clay from them, and also a mini-kiln, a torch, and some other items. I mentioned to my father that I would be working with this new medium soon. He mentioned it to my uncle who lives a thousand miles away in Texas. My uncle happens to know alot of people.

My uncle tells my father that he is really good friends with some people who supply pmc. So I email my uncle and he tells me that he is best friends with this guy, who just happens to own the very same website where I just bought my supplies the week before. Granted, it would have been nice to know this BEFORE I ordered from them...but it's amazing no less. The guy from the website contacted me and told me that he will help me out in whatever way he can, and that I'll only be paying wholesale prices, and get really good deals, etc. Which is fantastic, because silver clay is really expensive! So...I've got my connection! :D

-The Significance- (the bigger picture)

So what IS the bigger picture? Why do I call this synchronicity? A few months ago I landed a fantastic job as an architectural animator at a great architecture firm. Just this month I had been struggling with the thought of quitting, because I was extremely unhappy. My parents were thrilled that I got this job...but it didn't allow me enough time to continue or to develop my business or my art. I had SUCH a hard time dealing with this...I didn't want to disappoint my family especially my father, but eventually I had to do what felt right and I decided to quit.

I knew it was what I had to do...but I was definitely second guessing my decision and became a little depressed immediately afterward. However, now I'm realizing that it was the RIGHT decision...because the universe is sending me little (and in this case huge) signs that I am, indeed, on the right path! This is no mere coincidence. If you can't take an experience like this and see the significance in it, then you are blind.

I invite others to share their stories of how the universe helped them along their way, by sending sychronistic signs and events into your life. :)

Well thats certainly a huge fat sign from the universe. I find all this vibrational/Sychronistic stuff amazing. If you didn't know about or what Sychronisation is i guess you would just pass it off as coincidence.

Nothing that big ever happend to me yet that i can recall. I am sure though as i enter college im probally going to get a couple signs that tell my if im on the right path or not.

What type of signs do you think you would get if you were on the wrong path?

You know...it's funny that you mention college. Because my whole college experience was one big sychronistic event.

Here's another story.

I wasn't sure where I wanted to go to college, but I had an interest in design and computers...and it just so happens that one of the best design schools in the country is located in my city...University of Cincinnati's School of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning. (DAAP) So I applied there in Digital Design, even though I didn't think I would have a chance at getting in.

That particular major doesn't look at your art portfolio, all they care about are SAT scores and class rank. You had to have above like a 1250 or something SAT score and be in the top 10% of your graduating high school class. And they only take 20 people into the program. 20 people! I really didn't think I had a shot, but I applied anyway.

My MOTHER (god bless her)...called the admissions office awhile later to check about the status of my application. It just so happens that the woman that answered the phone...I went to grade school with her daughter. We played soccer together. So this lady knew my mom. She was extremely helpful AND she told my mom that she would put my application on top of the enormous stack.

A few days later the lady calls back to let my mom know that not only was I among the 20 people to get into the program, but I had also gotten a Cincinnatus Scholarship!!! I couldn't believe it. We were both thrilled. My mom calls that lady my guardian angel lol, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have gotten into the program without her.

Cool, eh? :)

As to your question about being on the wrong path...I usually know when I'm not heading in the right direction because sychronicities will stop occurring. Maybe months will go by, and I feel miserable. I know that something is wrong but I'm not sure what. No little signs to show me that I'm going the right way. But every single time that I switch directions...make a decision...or whatever that puts me BACK into the flow of sychronicity...I am ALWAYS given an enormous and blatant sign. Sometimes it's so huge I can't help but laugh about it. I'm talking billboard here, not just a little sign lol.

But it is also difficult, because sometimes, you don't KNOW that you are not going in the right direction, until something big happens to make you change things in your life. :)

Well, I've just recently found out that magic-8-balls are linked to the universe big time.

I'm finally starting to understand my life through a plastic ball filled with coloured water!

I made a thread about synchronicity in the Philosophy section a while back. I have little synchronistic moments frequently. Usually when I learn about something bizarre and new, then everybody and everything starts to follow suit. It seems like I set random trends telepathically. :P

Most are small, but I've had a couple good ones. Can't think of any that I want to post right now though.

Well, to just let you all know something about future ambitions, for the last year or so I have been going through the application process for the RCMP ( Royal Canadian Mounted Police ) Canada's major national police force,

Anyways, I passed all the physical testing with good marks, passed the 4 hour written testing ( english, mathematics, logic, memory..etc..)
Filled out hundreds of papers on personal history, all the places I have ever lived, addresses, references, criminal history etc...

Anyways, I was doing very well and sure I would get in it was my ambition and I was going to go for it big time :)

but lately, as I have been growing more spiritual and developing my true nature, I had started to question myself as to this as my career, did I really want to do this? Would I really shoot and kill a person if I had to?

And I had a good talk with a really wise older friend, and after this my mindset had kind of changed... I just wasn't sure..

Anyways, to make the story short, a few days later I got a letter in the mail from the RCMP, they had rejected my application for reasons not stated and politely told me I could reapply If I wanted at another future date..

I was not devastated , I realised I had gotten an answer to the question I had held inside,

So now here I am going with the flow, I will just stay open to the energy of this life and open to the opportunities that will come my way

Holy shit, a scholarship to? that was perrty amazing that it was your friends mom who got the call. Like what if she hadn't been working that day? Well anyways thats still rather amazing. Did you know about synchronicity when this all unfolded?

Some of my online friends and I share our experiences like this on another site. It's pretty wild how often our experiences & posts overlap! I've even written a couple of articles about this sort of thing, and am making it into a book. The beauty of it is that when you acknowledge them and give thanks for them, they tend to increase. I'm glad you shared yours here. :D

Here's one for you that shows just how Spirit really winks at you:

About six months ago, my Benefactor (aka Higher Self) chided me for not asking good questions during my journeys. It went something like this:

ME: "Where are we not aware?"

BENEFACTOR: "What? What the hell is that? That's not a question. Hell, that's not even a proper sentence. You can do better than than that. Try again."

ME: (Nonplussed) "Um... ok... well, let's see... 'Where are we not aware of problems that exist?"

BENEFACTOR: (completely resigned to my apparant idiocy - shoulders drooped, head hung and shaking side-to-side) "You are so NOT AWARE that I don't even know how to start to answer that question. No.. wait...you know what? DUBAI! There... you have no idea the problems that are present in Dubai."

So I get it right? Questions are more important than answers and GOOD questions are most essential. Thank you. Lesson learned. Moving on...

Now, fast-forward about six weeks. I'm at work - at the time I worked at a major defense contractor's corporate training facility - and in our morning meeting the General Manager tells us that in two days we're really going to have to be on our feet because there's a vitally important, highly situated ambassador coming to tour our facility with his entourage. Any guesses what country this Ambassador's from? Uh huh... Dubai.

Ok... maybe just a coincidence right? Maybe. Let's roll with that for a little bit.

So the tour goes off without a hitch, but for one of the two days the entourage is on site, I'm off site facilitating a training session on another campus. When I come back, the Executive Chef pulls me aside and says, "Hey, this lady from Dubai was looking for you."

"What did she want??"

"She says she knows a family member of yours over there. She gave me her card and asked that you call her back when you get the chance."

"???" Well, first things first... I DON'T have any family living in Dubai and secondly, who the hell was this woman?

The only possible explanation I could come up with was my little sister. Little 'sis is a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Baghdad at the time. This lady was a governmental official, my sister's in the Green Zone.... Ok.. THAT must be it. Whew... scared me for a minute.

So, I call my sister, "Hey kiddo..."

"That's Lieutenant Kiddo to you buddy!"

"Yeah, yeah, save the oorah for someone who didn't change your diapers. Listen, something wierd happened the other day. Do you know anyone from the Dubai Office of Foriegn Relations?"

"Dubai? Hmmm... Nope. Sure don't."

"Ok. What about this name?" I read her the name and title from the business card.

"Nope. No idea. Anything else? I'm supposed to be requistioning HEAP rounds for the brigade's tanks..."

"No...that's it. So, you still filling out ammo reqs with the Hello Kitty pen? (story for another time)"

Alright, so here I was back at square one. So I decide to call the woman.

Guess what? Number doesn't exist. No, I'm serious... that was the message I got from the operator when I called.

"What do you mean it doesn't exist??" I say. "It's right here on this business card!"

"Sir, I'm not sure what business card you have, nor do I care. The number you are requesting does not exist. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

I don't know about sychronisticity, but I have amazingly extreme luck.

After I graduated college, I did a lot of traveling, especially in Asia. I was doing street paintings in the art district of Seoul, Korea, when I ran into some friendly young Korean girls. I spent the afternoon chatting with them, thinking they were just practicing their English. I'll Jibber-Jab at anyone if you give me the chance, so I didn't think twice about it.

A couple weeks later, I got a call from my Korean businessman drinking buddy 'Mr. Goodface'. He was extremely excited, and yelling in his broken English about me being a national superstar. I guess the girls I was talking with were not high school students practicing their English, but news reporters for a Korean lifestyle television show. Not only was I all over TV, but Korean Airlines bought the rights to it, and was showing it on their in-flight programming. So every single person flying into or out of Korea had to watch me jabbing about my love for retro toys and discontinued beverages. Embarrassing, but not surprising, considering my exterme luck.

A week or two later, I got another call. Mr Goodface again, and he was laughing so hard he was about to cry. Apparently, I was on the cover of Time Magazine in Korea (their equivalent), and my face was on every news stand in the country. Somehow the magazine was doing a completely unrelated story about foreigners in Korea, and chose my photo as the cover image. Understand that this had absolutely nothing to do with the previous interview. I don't even know how they got my picture. Apparently, they just love me in Korea.

This is just one example. I have hundreds of stories like this.

:boogie: Noway! Cool. Also... I was getting Dubai like crazy for awhile. It all came together with some of the crazy earth change things we were watching on one channel this weekend... later we randomly landed on the travel channel and left it. A show about the islands in Dubai came on. I wasn't even sure where Dubai was until I saw this show... the big thing going on there right now is that they're building all those islands. And now doing them in a world model, with all the countries. Of course, this was a show promoting it, so they didn't say this, but: it looks to me like all that man-made island stuff would have to have some sort of effect on the rest of the environment, just by the mere displacement of the water, if nothing else...

:D Yeah, I'd say synchronicity! With a little serendipity thrown in, maybe?

I get things like this everywhere I go. Now I'm wondering... on the other site, I had posted about all these strange things in my dreams & signs, coming together around the time of the satellite blast. I highlighted the fact somewhere that I never got signs/vibes about North Korea, though I'd heard that name in the news last year when I first started getting the other signs.

Then... you show up in a synchronicity thread talking about Korea? Is that a throwback? :lol:


I have a couple of really weird ones over the years, though... one of my favorites was when my hubby and I were reading separate books in bed one night. His was a finance book and mine was a spiritual one. At one point, he started reading to me, about money allowing you to "do, have, be" and I stopped him, because I reminded him I didn't like to be read to aloud - especially not when I'm trying to read my own book! Then I went back to my own book, (think it was Gary Renard's Disappearance of the Universe) and there it was: He was asking the masters what they thought about the "do, have, be" method.

Awesomeness, and the times when it starts happening almost daily like that, I feel so wrapped up in the loving arms of the universe!

I once was drawn to a book out on display at the library, but didn't get it because it was a novel, and I didn't want fiction. I went to the other shelves and got a book that caught my eye for numerous reasons - "There are No Accidents". Got home and the first part of that book opens with a quote from the novel I decided not to get. Had to get it after that. Interestingly enough, the book often notes the coincidences and the whole novel/reality being related.

That was probably the most bizarre.

I've noticed that a lot with reading also. Once, I was reading three books, a biography, a color theory book, and a fiction book. In the same day, they all three mentioned H.P. Lovecraft. I know its a popular thing to reference, but come on!

A couple months ago, I was re-reading Life of Pi. My girlfriend brought the mail in and dropped it on the coffee table. Right on top was the new Juxtapoz Magazine. Guess what the cover artwork was? Tomer Hanuka's illustration for Life of Pi .

I think books definitely give me the most sychronistic experiences.. especially if I read books on semi-related topics. Ideas are always bound to overlap and intersect.

How can you read the right signs and know what to do?

This stuff ALWAYS happens to my significant other and me! We hear something new, a concept, a person, a word, a song, ANYTHING and you can be assured we will hear it again, see them again, etc. the following day or two at least once. We joke about it all the time. We are no longer shocked by the way things fit together or the way this stuff works, we expect it to and use our intitution often, as it makes a difference. I know what I wrote is vague, but I can't go into detail or get more creative, I am really tired though need to get to bed :) Work comes far too early. Almost the weekend!

I have met at least 20 people that live in canada on MSN.
I only had 8 at the start of this year, but now pretty much every new person I meet lives in canada. And they're ALL friendly. ALL of them. Most people from other countries interrogate me then decide they don't feel like talking and delete me. Lovely.

Yeah it could all be coincidences but then that's one HUGE bunch of coincidences.

I've never even BEEN to canada :P

I notice it a lot with books too. I love to read for spiritual enrichment, and it seems that there is always a theme that is a part of each of the books I'll be reading and our pastor will teach on that lesson...then after I've learned that lesson...it will be another theme that pops up everywhere. It's the Spirit at work in my life, and I welcome it. Repetition is an effective learning tool.

It's very interesting, how we are taught in life, sometimes...
