      Obe?

Last night I attempted to WILD. However, I was in bed for about 2 hours with continuous HI and nothing happening. Just before I gave up, I heard the usual whirring sounds and increased HI intensity; thus, I thought I was on my way. The problem is the sounds were intermittent; they kept stopping and starting depending on my focus.

I decided to just open my eyes. I tried to get up and found that I was certainly paralyzed. It was no mind over body because I could 'jerk' my body, but move no particular muscle. I tried rolling over to my left side. Each time I did, a blue haze circulated my paralyzed hand, which could be seen from my peripheral vision.

Eventually, I fell. Literally onto the floor. I thought that I had 'broke' the paralysis...until I stood up. I saw myself on the bed sleeping, wearing exactly the same clothes. My mate was on the floor sleeping too, just as he was. The details of the room were synonymous to when I was 'awake', every last detail.

I shouted to my mate: 'oi it worked, it's true you can separate from your body'. He woke up slightly and mumbled something like 'whatttt mannnn?' The problem is that I was now worried about my position. So I literally laid on top of myself and relaxed. It felt uncomfortable, so real. Why should I doubt it? After a while I remember falling back into my body and getting out of my bed. For real. Yet again, the details of the room remained unchanged.

Wth happened?! I cannot be that delusional, although that's the obvious and most logical answer to derive. I know it was real, not like the WILD's. The lighting from the moonlight, the various subtle sounds in my room. Exactly the same in both states. O_O

All I know, is that it wasn't something that I would like to experience again.

Never trust someone who smiles so damned much ^^^^

      *ahem*

Many of my WILDs could be compared to or even considered OBE's. They start out with me in bed and the feeling of me breaking the in dream sleep paralysis usually feels like me breaking free of my body.

I've even encountered the sleeping me, in dream, in the past. Kind of freaky.

I'm going to take a chance and say it was a very vivid lucid dream. They can be entirely as real as what you experience in waking life. To proove you're having OBEs you'll have to come up with some sort of test that would validate your out of body wanderings.

... of course I couild be entirely wrong as I've never experienced an OBE before.
