Yeah, but only if you will contribute. As long as the topic is open, what are everyones experiences with auras?

When I concentrate on someone for a while, I can see sort of an energy outline around them. If is kind of the effect you get when you see something hot. Just a kind of distortion, or wavyness. What I see seems to extend about 3 inches from the body.

This outline is totally transparent and distorts the view of whatever is behind it.

Well...In this place I am blind.. no not physically, I can see physcially VERY well but spiritualy? I cannot see unless I am hyper focused, like squinting I guess, that one time where where I saw that shadow that gave me the warning, I thnk IT wanted to be seen so much that I did with no problem, but in other cases, most cases,

I cannot see fields or auras or even those shadows, like the one that attacked lost soul and I. I only felt it mostly through her shock/fear. Were it not for her I would have been the retard that trips in the horror movie... actually I would have been the first to go, the one that goes silently and without trace, and everyone is like uhh hey whered Seri go?

When I focus, or quint, I see a light, its translucent white and extends out from living things, about a half in I would say, I also see what I have dubbed "clear bugs" they are kinda like lightning bugs though and flash white every once in a while... I have NO clue as to what the hell it is I am seeing. Its not stuff in my eyeball either as they move indipendant of my eye movement, they fly around on their own paths. And looking closely at inanimat objects they look like they are moving, like swirling around inside the material its made of but its on a TINY scale I duno if thats resonance or what, it would be cool if it was, but I am prolly just seeing shit This is all sober too I would like to point out.

I don't see these fields with inanimate objects, just with living things.

Man I really missed my chance yesterday. I visited a friend at the funeral home. They had the funeral for his father. I should have tried to see the energy field on a dead person.

Oh well, I can always go out and look for road kill!

The original aura thread got zapped =( sorry I moved it and tried to delete its shadow that was left in the old topic... and duh, if the light is still there and you take the shadow away the object itself has to be deleted too... it dosent make sense but it does hehe

I've experienced that exact same thing! The first time I remember was in 4th grade... I was sitting at my desk just staring at the teacher...I didn't like her too much, and was just studying her because I didn't understand why she was so mean. Anyway, there was a green bulletin board behind her, and the longer I stared, the more I began to see a hazy outline. She would sway in her chair or something, and the clouding of the bulletin board behind her would flow and distort more. I would look away at something for a moment, and when I looked back it would dim, then come back in full...it gave my eyes a tired feeling, like when you look at a computer screen for so long. Then she called me up there to bitch to me about how my writing was too small (she was like 70-something years old!!)...and as I approached, the aura seemed to lose it's proportion. As you described, Seeker, it extended a few inches when I was by her desk...but before, when I was sitting down, it was more like double that (in relation to her and the surroundings)...like the aura wasn't affected by perspective, it stayed the same size to me.

hmmm ...actually, I have noticed it's easier to focus on one farther away...to a certain extent of course.

Seeker, What color is the aura? Does it change color? do you see it in animals too?

gah, are you guys the only ones who see these? I have never seen one. is it like some sixth sense type thing?

Uhh... I don't have a peepee. So it's not just a guy thing. They are always different colors, depending on what/who you are looking at and I do see them in animals, too. Inanimate objects as well, though the colors are almost always blue and orange.

One of my original questions in the thread that Serinanth killed ( LOL) was something about what Seeker (I think) said. He mentioned the colors that he thought Paperdoll's and my auras would be and I was curious what made him choose those colors.

Yes, a lot of them are. I rarely, if ever, trust anyone who asks me for money when doing any sort of paranormal reading. In fact, there is only one woman I trust, and she only charged me because this is how she makes a living. She is a tried and true gypsy. She read my cards when I was about thirteen years old, and so far everything she said has come true. One of the biggest things she told me was "You will love and lose three times in your life, and one has already come to pass." At that time, I was blindly in love with the guy who was teaching me the not-so-nice half of witchcraft... but that's another story and way off topic.

The point is: if they charge you, take what they say with a grain of salt. If they just randomly come to you and do a reading, look a bit deeper into what they are saying.

True, I don't think I can see auras, all I can see is kind of a transparent energy field around people.

I remember imagining that yours would probably be an orange-red color and Paperdolls would be more of a blue-green.

Wouldn't that be kool if you could see auras. But i belive, even if you could, i don't think you would see it with your eyes. Probablly another sense. There are machiens out there that suposenly can deteck you aura , althogh thats kinda hard to belive

hmm.. yeah, seeker, I'm not convinced I know what I'm seeing...I don't see any colors either.. I wonder what it all means? I wish someone was sitting in front of me right now that I could stare at for awhile!

I have never seen an aura, but I did get Tarot cards read by a guy once. He was just an acquantiance of mine, and he claimed he didn't believe in it, that he just did it for fun, but he was right on the money. I didn't have a very interesting reading. But everything he said about my past was right, and everything he said about my future (that which has come to pass anyway) has been right. And I don't mean just coincidentally right, but very right, eeriley so. He didn't charge anyone, and it's freakin' spooky. I still won't try a ouiji board, partly because of that.

Thanks for the link about aura's. Interesting reading. Before my sister died, she was going to a masseuse(sp?).
She practices Wicca (correct term?), sees aruas, and incorporates crystals in treatment. Seemed to help my sister a lot!

my mom would not allow me and my sister to have or to play with oija boards, She found out the hard way too when she was younger those things are fucked up... I have no desire to even mess with them.
