Accidental Astral or OBE?

Im not sure if this is an obe or an astral projection experience.
I fell asleep on my bed one day and I started having this "dream". I was standing there beside my bed and I was smiling looking out into the hallway watching my brother and his freind, although they could not see me.Soon my boyfreind walked in and he smiled at me at first and then he moved tworard me and took me by the hand leading me gently to the bed.When I turned I saw my body laying there like I was as I was sleeping.He layed me back down and for a second I felt strange like I was floating in my body for a second looking up at the ceiling instead of sideways (as was my body). Then I woke up opened my eyes and could move.This is sleep paralysis.Im not sure if this is because of the fear I have of astral projection and it was just a dream or because I had an OBE.I couldn't move for about a minute or two. I was just staring in one direction and breathing.Soon I could move and I was just confused about it and didn't know what to think so I never thought of it again untill a few weeks later.Ive never said anything to anyone except here because people would think I was crazy.This happened about a year ago.

I have no clue, it just seems dangerous to me....kinda scarey I dont know, maybe Im affraid of the feeling or knowing that Im not "with" myself at the moment.A few people told me this experience was OBE.Do you think so? Just getting more opinions.Thats weird, Im sorry he never talked to you again.Why do you doubt it happened to you?

Yeah, people tell me that I should ask him but I dont want to imbariss myself or him... I really dont know how to ask him??? How would you do it?
Okay, what do you remember of this event? Why does it seem like teleportation or a dream if you say the person never talked to you again?

This reminds me of something... This dude like almost killed me with an aluminum baseball bat, then I saw the bat coming for my head, then i didnt and i was all dizzy, and the dude called me a creep and ran away... I dont know if it was a dream or not, but the guy never talked to me again.[/b]

Can you please explain a little more, I thought I had read it right now I read it over again and I have no clue...

Wow okay.Thats crazy... that would be cool though, it probably really happened.Why was he going to hit you? Do you remember anything before it?

actually, there are authors who have talked about experiencing spontaneous OOBE's and astral projection for years before they realized what it was. so i don't think a fear of astral projection necessarily precludes the ability for it to happen without intention. also, there are many non-conscious aspects of the brain that operate completely under the radar and could be responsible for the intent portion.

I very well believe that the experience you described Was an AP or OBE, but maybe you could talk to your boyfriend and see what he knows or if he remembers something about it...

Thanks alot pOOp, you've changed my view on guardian angels. This happened to my mom aswell, way back when she was young. Her and a friend of hers went down to greece, and at one time she was walking over this road, and a car came towards her at full speed she faced the car and right after she found herself on the sidewalk, dizzy!

She told me this story, and I never really believed it. She said she has a guardian angel that did that to her. I just went "Right..." never really believed in them. But recently I've started to understand its not just lies. The way you described it just fits perfectly with what mom told me... really interesting,
