The fence
http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=55117
Ok so I mentioned this on another section, and I just thought I'd pop in here to entertain an amusing idea. Click the link to understand what I'm talking about.
What if that barrier was so hard to get by because it was the limits of my own dream scape, and the field I saw beyond was something else?
Has anyone ever heard of people who claim to have left their bodies or entered other people's dreams by passing through some kind of barrier?
-
Actually yes. I have heard of such a thing when people are describing their astral travel experences.
the idea works like this. In the Astral Plane it sometimes prevents you from seeing things your not supposed to. For example. If your then the astral plane and you decide all of a sudden you want to go watch the girl you like in the shower, it wont let you see it. I forget why or who does this but it seems to be a rule taht governs the astral plane. Hopefully someone else can offer deeper insite then i on this matter.
Perhaps you weren't supposed to go beyound the first fence, something you weren't supposed to see was there?
Good luck, happy lucid dreaming!

This reminds me of when I couldn't get any higher when I was flying.

I once came to the edge or end of my dream world. Beyond it was black nothing. I walked right up to the edge to look out into it, but didn't want to go in. There's nothing creepier than nothing.

Once I came to some sort of thresh-hold,running past DC's yelling at me to
stop..like it was forbidden...but being stubborn..I'm always trying to push
past the envelope.During that one dream I was lucid, and curious as the
proverbial cat. What I encountered was a dreamscape that seemed to be in
a making stage.Everything looked melted, all the colors blending together
like paint..as if nothing had congealed yet into solids.Beyond that was just
black nothingness. When I woke up,I surmised that maybe my dreamworlds
are always expanding.(more places to visit in the future).:)
