Has anyone seen the spiders?

I posted a thread on another forum on seeing spiders (the disappearing kind). There's actually one forum that has a 3-page thread discussing this. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone here's been seeing ethereal spiders? Some people refer to them as some kind of astral wildlife, but people do see them while awake.

"Lately (about a week now), I've been feeling like something's latched itself on my right leg. You know, it feels like having a cat hair on your skin--it kind of tickles that way. It feels like having a bug on my leg all the time.

It's quite hot here nowadays and I've been getting blood-sucked by these damned mosquitos. The other night, while sitting on my couch, I couldn't ignore the funny feeling on my foot because it could very well be another mosquito sucking the life out of me. So when I felt a tickle on my right foot, I immediately pull my leg up and looked (hoping to catch one in the act, so that I could kill it). What I saw wasn't a mosquito. I saw a black spider, about 2 inches big. I saw it crawling quickly off my toes. And I only saw it for like a second, then it just disappeared.

I still feel it on my leg...like all the time."

I wonder whether it'd have anything to do with oob or lucid attempts?

BTW, totally off topic here...I've been noticing some really weird DCs. The other night, while in the middle of a very vivid dream about having to cross some body of water because a bridge broke off mid-way, and as I was wading my way to shore, I looked to my left and saw a small hut-like space with a couple people occupying it. I also saw a long-haired woman sitting on a wooden chair. Her skin was paper-white and she looked very much like a...well, ghost. Even at that moment, I "thought" she must be a ghost. I woke up soon after. But then I realized that I've been seeing ghostly DCs that just don't fit into the dream environment quite often. Very weird.

I've heard of those spiders before but never knew it was real. EEEEWWW! I would have a heart attack if i see one of those things crawling on my legs. (I'm lucky that here's cold so, no spiders) Anyway, I haven't seen it but from your explanation those things really remind of the Shadow People. They're some kind of shadows that some people see in the corners of their eyes. But still, the spiders are kind of different because you saw it directly with your eyes. Wich is... weird. I don't think it has to do anything with OBE but maybe lucid attempts... not sure. I couldn't find any information about them either. I have a friend who says that he sees those kind of spiders sometimes. He also says that his cat catches them. I don't know...

And about your dream, maybe the people or the ghosts you see in your dreams are your dream signs.

I have definitely seen phantom spiders when on the edge of sleep or WILDing. I always attributed them to HI.

I do have a ton of real spiders living in my new house. I don't mind them that much, but I still kill them every chance I get. I like vacuuming them up because I imagine it would be a fun way to die. Much more fun than being squooshed.
