Im new to this and could use some advice.. PLEASE HELP

Ok, well I have been reading about lucid dreaming and astral projection for a few years now. Probably since my sophomore year in high school, and I am now a freshman at Rutgers University. I have had one true lucid dream which didn't last very long probably because I panicked or whatever. Also, recently i downloaded "brainwave mind voyage" MP3's which are supposed to induce and OBE. And before I listened to it I decided to smoke some pot because for some reason it has been putting me into a crazy deep state of relaxation recently. Now, just for the record I do not condone smoking weed, but I figured it would only help for me to be in a state of deep relaxation while I listened to it. Listening to it only made my relaxation even deeper. I was very into these MP3's, and everything seemed to be going perfect, I thought I was well on my way to having an OBE. For some reason though, i was unable to "shift my consciousness" while listening to the MP3's. I can't truly describe how I felt, but I am pretty sure that I felt my whole astral body except for my head. The MP3's told me to try to wave my astral arms and I did it, and I could actually feel it. It was really weird and cool. I've tried this a few times and never got it. I haven't done better than the first time where I could really feel the astral body.

ANY advice someone can give me would be GREATLY appreciated. I would love to hear some tips from people who are experienced with this stuff, I am very committed to learning to astral project. Even tips on how to consistently have a lucid dream would be also be GREATLY appreciated, but I do understand this is the wrong place to post about that.

get smashed on drink, then smoke some pot, im not even jking, this is when i have most of my lucid dreams, try it, im sure you'll be pleasantly surprised :D
