Thread: How do you do a OBE??

Hello phonix. When I was attending a consciousness development program, we were told not to give out too much information that we learned, to others as it was akin to what our tutor described as "evolutionary rape". I don't necessarily hold with that view. I believe if you are developed enough to ask the question then you are ready for some answers or at the very least, guidance to help you find your way. If you would like to PM me sometime I might be able to help you with some pointers.

Hello Vinn, I did the consciousness development program (or course)with the International Institute of Projectiology & Conscientiology (HQ is based in Brazil) - you can find some information here - http://www.iacworld.org/English/Reso...tions/IIPC.asp. Their founder Prof Waldo Vieira has studied consciousness and OBEs for many years, and their program is non-profit making and entirely educational/research based. They teach everything connected with human consciousness, from sleep states to OBE techniques and NDEs. Emphasis is put on developing one's focus and learning how to control one's vibrational state - control that and OBEs eventually happen, almost as a by-product of the exercise. It's one big subject, yes?

My approach - I read every book on OBEs I could get my hands on, and then put into practice the technique(s) I thought suited me the best.

You will find there's a big question about the difference between LDs and OBEs - some say they are one and the same thing. In my experience, they are very closely related but there is a difference. One thing most sources agree on; if you are LDing a lot you souldn't have much difficulty learning how to project.

That is because in both Wild and OBE you have to enter sleep paralysis, and to do that you do the same steps, and so you can pretty much take a fork in the road as to what you want to do, energy work and get into the obe, or start dreaming a wild.

a good way to get an OBE is Hemi-Sync, google it

Actually, you don't have to be in sleep paralysis, as, according to some theories, the paralysis occurs as a result of your subtle body leaving, which is basically projection. What is commom to both is the trance state that is typically achieved from WILDing. Body asleep, mind awake. The body doesn't have to be in paralysis though.

The spirit leaving the body always happens, every night when you sleep. When you enter body asleep mind awake, your body cant move, hence sleep paralysis. Unless i am mistaken, which i very well could be, you have to be in SP to achieve both through the WILD method. But yes, Hemi-Sync if you get the right one does work, but it messes you up without the proper knowledge of getting into an OBE.
