From my Dreams, To the Real World

This whole thing is about preternatural experiences i've witnessed while living here, some of them being things that came from my dreams.

There was a night long ago, maybe a year, Where I experienced something i thought only existed in my dreams. There are dreams I get where I experience a fear so terrible it feels as if a demon had ripped my soul through my face. Well, that night was the only time where I experienced the same excruciating fear :cry: I was lying down in my bed with the lights out, trying to go to sleep, and there was a lampost over near where my feet were. It was tall and black, and has three lamp heads (2 of which dont work). Well, I was staring off into space when all of a sudden I jumped: I notticed that the lamp moved in place and all the heads were all facing me. I actually SAW it move, and it made no sound at all. I was almost scared to death because im not used to inanimate objects suddenly moving in the blackness of my room so that it could "face me". I only wish there were words for what was instilled in me that night. I got out of my bead and tipped the thing over onto the ground so that it was out of my sight. And another thing, everyone was asleep, and there was no-one in my room the entire night either. PLUS, I had gotten that lamp from a garage sale a whie back.... It still sits in my room, but I dare not look at it when I go to sleep anymore :blue:

Now for more recent events:

1) I was sitting in my room with the door cracked open, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a shadow move through the living room. I ran out really quick to see if anyone was there, but my family was out at the time and no-one else was present. So i convinced myself that it was an illusion. After about another 30 minutes, and leaving my door opened wider, I Saw a HUGE shadow pass across the walls. At this point I was starting to freak out, because still no-one was there, and there were no other reasonable explanaitions.

2) I was sitting at the threshold of the front door when I could have sworn something sleek and black moved above me across the walls and over the door. My sister was sitting at the computer, but she said she didn't see anything weird. Plus the only light that was on was sitting across the room from her, so she couldn't have tricked me...

3) At my computer in my room, I felt a soft push of warm air hit my right cheeck (my windows are not open, and it gets cold during the night). The strange thing is, spirits or ghosts are always said to "feel" colder, so I was clueless on that part.

4) The lights were on and I was lying down on my bed when something wight passes over me through the air. It was like a foggy white blurr that was to my right. It was there and gone in a second, and nothing alse could have cause such a strange behavior

*** Note: anything in my dreams that moves across walls in the form of a shadow or light are like bad omens, and I dont know why they're starting to appear in my home now :shakehead2:

There was one more thing, about 2 years ago. We had this stereo set that was always on in the living room. We notticed that almost every night it would turn off on its own. Now, it didn't have a sleep mode, and only did it most of the times, so not every night. My mom, sister, and dad have all notticed this. It not until we moved it to another room that it seemed to stop. There are countless cases where haunted houses usually have lights and televisions that turn on AND off at random, so thats how this relates.

I have a feeling that there might be some way I kept going to the astral plane and havent been realizing it, as if my actions there are determined by my subcontious mind, less i take control and because "lucid" in the AP. Is there a probability that my constant confrontations with these lower vibrating beings, and my consistent visits to this other place has somehow allowed them to come here?

Possibly. It is not uncommon for that to happen. If that is the case, don't be afraid of them. They can't hurt you. They can only feed off your fear. So don't feed them. These entities are really no different than alot of earthbound schmucks who get their kicks off of picking on other people.

Perhaps it is more likely that spirits around you and your family are trying to communicate with you. At least one of you is probably more sensitive to them.

Spirits always feel "cold". And whether it is a positve, negative, or neutral being you'll still feel that uncomfortable queasiness in the belly. This is a natural physical reaction to the energy of spirit bodies.

If they are not welcome, simply tell them so. If you want to know what they want, ask them. They will show in one way or another. Pay attention. They may also just be connected to your home.

A good excersise for any of these explanations is too protect yourself and your family by visualizing a beautiful white light surrounding you, and permeating every part of your body. Then let it build to surround each of your family members, as well as your home. Do this daily. (If it's hard to visualize a white light, think of a white sheet and go from there.)

Also burning Sage or Sage Incense is a good way to purify one's environment.

I really wouldn't worry about it, unless the activities escalate. Not in frequency but in activity (such as thrown objects). If they do, you may be dealing with something different, but that's not very common.

about the spirits feeling cold, that's what I was weirded out by, the fact that i felt a warm push on my cheek... I'm the only one in my family that has seen this already too, so i'm just afraid that i might see something on the wall and point at it while my parents or sister stare and see nothing, even though i can see it plain as day. It would really suck to be thought of as litterally crazy :? but I guess time can only tell.

And about that visualization of white light surrounding me and my family, I've heard that somewhere before :D Where did you find it from?

on a last note again: This started happening after I hung a small pentagram from my ceiling. Its odd because an upright pentagram is supposed to be something of good, while an upside down pentagram symbolizes evil. I know it may have nothing to do with it at all, but I believe in other-worldly powers as such. Just thought you should know :content:

Your right, the pentagram right side up is actually very spiritual. The five points correspond to the five elements.
Earth - grounding, strength, and security.
Air - Inspiration, Intellect, Insight, Cleansing and Purification.
Fire - Passion for all things in life, Healing, Protection, Virility, and new beginnings.
Water - Intuition, Emotions, and spiritual immersion, tranquility and peace.
Spirit - Soul, or higher self.

So it's all good. :)

Have you been meditating more lately, studying spiritual things, reading sacred texts, anything like that??

Consider yourself one of the lucky... I've also had the same views as you but I've overcome them overtime. It's triggered by blocked fear, you are probably the type of guy as I was, turning away from fear but making myself believe I was stronger. When really you must turn to it and walk into the uncharted darkness, only then can you understand yourself. While the oder of defination may state that it is your blindness of fear, I believe that it represents a greater meaning. A meaning that only you can find when you look at yourself through others eyes.

For reikigirl, I have been reading up on a few spiritual things lately, and I should be reading the Qu'ran more, so basicaly, yes.

For Khronos, it's not often that I come upon fear alot for myself exept for in my dreams at all. And thats also because i have a feeling that most of my dreams are AP's that i'm not aware of, so the creatures there arent imaginary. The last time I did something in real life that gave me an adrenalin rush was going 45 MPH down a busy road, on a bike :bluesmile: I know it was pretty stupid, but it was fun as hell. I dont know why that didn't scare me though, seeing as i could have killed myself literally. It could be as you said. Is it possible that i may not even be intentionaly trying to avoid fear? I dont know, but your free to offer any more advice on this...

I'm the same way... I can stare a giant shark in the eye and laugh at it, from far away ofcourse.

What I was trying to say it that although consciencely you aren't afraid to look fear in the eye, somewhere deep down you have fears blocked from past events. By ignoring those fears, or putting a blind eye to them they finally build up. What is fear exactly? It's what we do not understand and can't comprehence. Sure you might not be scared in a 1v2 fight, but we all have our own demons hidden inside, one's that control us and our fears. What you could be seeing is a revision of those past fears of the uncomprehencable.

Advice: Don't lose doubt in yourself, believe in your morals and take a bold stand.

Questions to ask yourself:
-Did you ever have any bad dreams or visions when you were a younger?
-Have you ever had a moment where you have waited for fear at the front door hoping it wouldn't open it?

Anxiety and doubt in dimensional order can brings there fears awake again. It's all in your mind, if you're seeing them maybe you are subconsciencely choosing too because of past events. Maybe your so blinded to fear that you yourself have walked right into it.

Of course, this is just me talking... Take it or leave it. :P

What I was going to suggest was that if you had been reading/studying/practicing alot in the spiritual arena, it may very well be your guides who are trying to communicate with you.

It may also be you who is the source of the disturbances. As Khronos recommended, look within for the answers. Do not be afraid. Nothing can harm you. It is only your fear that makes it seem so.

Khronos: When I was younger, all I used to have were nightmares, and dreams with bad feelings in them. During that long stretch of time there was no such thing as a happy dream. That is, not until I started learning what a dream actually was, I became so interested that a while back I ran a search for "dreams" under HowstuffWorks.com (I love that place). After some explaining, i clicked the "more links" button and got directed here! I then started trying to lucid dream, and everything got sore more vivid (control-wise). Everything was vivid enough when those "beings" were putting the bad energy into me :( Scaring the living hell out of me made me realing that dreams were something more than just imagination. So it could be that my past memories of the bad dreams are coming back to me.

Reikigirl: Thats also a valid possibility. But i'm not as aquanted with the concept of guides. Can you give me a little more insight on that, like what forms they come in according to a person and such?

I hate to butt in here, but invader_tech's experiences seem to be very similar to mine. When I was little, my older sister and I both saw demons. My sister actually conversed with some of them and the became her "imaginary" friends. I, however, did not see them as friends because I was deeply religious. So instead of trying to bond with me, they resorted to scaring me.

Also, at night, the demons would posses my sister's Trolls dolls (anyone remember those?) and they would march aroung on the floor. My sister didn't recognize them as being the same demons, so she was scared. Then, my parents would get up because of the noise and spank my sister because they thought she was up in the middle of the night playing.

Eventually, something made my mom and dad realize that when we said we saw demons (my sister refered to them as people) they belived us. Then we got the preacher of our church to annoint our house and our yard (in which we could also see the demons) with oil. Then we burned all of my sisters Trolls dolls.

Everyone, but me in my family belives the demons to be gone. However, I do not. I think the merely bided their time and planted themselves into the hearts of my family members (posssibly even me, as I have unaccountably lost religious interest). All of this story has been confirmed by my parents. The reason I can not give you more details about my experiences is because my memory has been (with the closest word I can define it) erased. As far as I can tell, that is probably for my own benifit.

Just when you thought I was done, I'm not :P There are a few, more recent experiences that have happened in more recent years that I do remember. Most of them involve seeing shadows that have no source and seeing very small balls of light go wizzing past my head at very fast speeds. Don't know if me typing this helps anyone (besides me), but I thought it would be something of interest to all of you. I'd love to have your comments.

wierd... sounds alot like one of my friends. he usually sees 2 ghosts, a good one(the old man) and an evil(?) one (shadow) and stuff like that happens alot to him.... a whole list of other stuff i could share, but i got to go soon, so to make it simple, my theory is that everyone has at least a small tie to the asteral plane, spiritual dimention er whatever and that some people have stronger ties than others and kinda drag dream things back to the physical plane etc. i also think some people have a higher awarence than others.

For Wraith, just be thankfull as hell that the demons never caused any harm (at least i hope they didn't). This is an akward thing to hear and is hard to believe, because spiritual beings usually have an extremely tough time controlling anything physical, just like those troll dolls. If this truelly did happen, than i'm guessing that some unexperienced person practicing in the summoning arts or necromancy never banished the demons back to where they came (as you are ALWAYS supposed to do). Some people call on demons, and the much more experienced can actually use them as slaves, but be warned, there are demons that can override an even KILL the summoner themselves. So just be glad that they only possessed the dolls and not you or your sister...

As for the glowings balls of light, those are usually reported around cropcircles. They've been filmed around the circles as well. I have my own theory about cropcircles, and i've posted it up on here somewhere, but am not in the mood for wanting to repeat.

For Dreamer3, yes some people are closer tied to the other side. Humans are spiritual beings, but many of us just dont know how to use what abilities we've got...
