      Chakras in your dreams

Has anyone else ever seen chakras in their dreams?

I think I did once. This DC had a tunnel of fire and light coming out of his forehead.

I haven't, but I've always wanted to try chakra meditation in a dream to see what happens. Unfortunately I don't have near enough dream or self control to do it yet.

Sometimes chakras come in the form of wheels. For example, in some dreams the wheel was the tires on a bicycle. On a more traditional level I have seen chakras in the form of a lotus flower located along each of the seven points on my body. I don't really have these dreams anymore though. When I did have the dreams I found that for me the wheels represented evolution of some kind. When the wheel spinned clockwise I was evolving and when the wheel spinned counterclockwise I devolved.

The word "chakra" is actually Sanskrit for wheel. The chakras are the body's energy centers. Many psychics who work with healing are able to see them clearly awake, and see dark shadows in them where there is disease present. This can also be photographed by Kirlian photography, which I had done once, and which clearly showed a dark spot near my right ear, which has tinnitus and loss of hearing, and on my left shoulder area, where the collarbone was broken during a car accident. Chakras go up the body in a rainbow, starting with red at the base of the spine, and violet at the top of the head. I will momentarily describe one beautiful dream of all the chakras, but first will say that often color in dreams relates to chakras and chakra issues, so often that it is the first thing I look at when colors appear.

      Chakra colors, locations, and issues:

Red; root chakra at base of spine; issues of foundation and security, often financial security

Orange; sexual organs; issues of family and relationships

Yellow; navel chakra; issues of power and energy

Green; heart chakra; issues of love and caring

Light Blue; throat chakra; issues of communications with others

Indigo Blue; third eye chakra, in center of forehead; issues of inner connectedness, psychic abilities or Gifts of the Spirit or PSI, dreams, etc.

Violet; crown chakra, just above top of head; Spiritual issues related to our connection to the Divine, and thus to All-That-Is

There is also an eighth chakra that is Rose and acts as a connector between the green heart chakra and the violet crown chakra, and this Rose chakra is all about Agape, the love of the God/dess for All

Now my dream: This dream came during a time when I was questioning sexuality as we know it here and came to show me what might be the way of being INSTEAD of sex.

I dreamed I was watching a man and a woman, who were sitting naked together on a bed, with their legs crossed over each other. I saw that all of their chakras were lit and were connected one to the other between them, forming a beautiful rainbow bridge that joined them together. I felt the most amazing sense of warmth and peace and love, and knew this was what they were feeling. EOD

This makes more sense to me, really, as a scenario for life after the Earth plane, when we will no longer be procreating. (If you want to have sex and procreate, that's okay, but understand the Earth plane is the place for that! Many come back here to do that, in order to help others along, even though they don't have to... it's a choice anyone can make.) I just thought the dream was beautiful, and it came during a time when I had a multitude of rainbow dreams. All rainbow dreams can relate to the chakras, really. We are, each of us, walking rainbows, in reality. Iris means rainbow, and that's one of the reasons for my screen names.

In case you haven't guessed Dreamcaster, I am poking around reading some of your old stuff. I seriously meant this would be a better place for a discussion than in the interpretation area! I know the forum owners like to keep things separated.

      Hell of a necro

For future reference, don't bump threads that are anywhere near this old, please.
Unless you have a good reason, just don't.

Is that what he is? I found him in the smilies, and thought he'd be a nice change from the blinking rainbow ones, besides, he matches my avatar and has a star on his wand! I thought of him as a wizard, not a necromancer. I remember an old game on my old Commodore 64 that I loved that was called Necromancer. Maybe it reminded me of the little guy on there.

I was reading older posts of someone I had been talking to in the interpretation area, and saw that, and just succumbed to temptation to reply, since I know something about the subject, and apparently no one else had replied knowledgeably. Sorry to offend. That was not my intent. I had not realized there were rules about the age of posts, though I generally find it more sensible to reply to newer stuff.

I agree this is a better place for it! It takes time, you know, to sort that out here. It's a little more structured than a lot of forums, and also allows for more topics. I'm not complaining, just saying it can take time!
