I want to thank everyone that helped to make this website or even manages this form, or answers peoples questions etc. Now, because of what you do I want to share something to all of you which I have discovered, and is also the reason for my lenthy absence from this site. I have discovered "The Secret"

Your first thought might be: "What the hell is The Secret?" or "have I lost my marbles?" for the first question, "The Secret" is being able to have what you want when you want it, (almost like when you lucid dream; you ask for what you want, believe you have it, then it manifests. Its the same conspet here, but in real life). As for the second question, no I have my marbles here in this bag next to my bed

Right, down to the serious bit: the actual physics of it. Have you ever thought of something you really wanted? Then, maybe in years, months, weeks, days or even minutes later you got it? Thats because, your actually using the law of attraction. I have two very good sources you can view at the end of this page, one of them is from wiki how explaining how to use "The Secret" and the second is from the actually website, I would advise that you surf it, but please do visit the "living the secret page" it has real success stories from people that have used it. It might be able to give you some additional information or pure inspiration.

Basically, "The secret" works in three very simple steps...

Ask (be very clear on what you want)
Believe (Think like you already have it)
Receive (watch the magic happen)

Believe it or not whenever you think, you send out a wave, (a thought wave) this goes up into space and continues for ever and ever and ever (you get the idea). It is scientifically proven that you can measure a thought wave!Your thought is almost like a magnet; it attracts a like thought towards it, for example: Your walking down the road one day and you spot a very nice looking ipod. Your think to yourself, "I want that ipod." Immidently the law of attraction is working to give you what you want. Even better, if you could begin to visualize yourself holding that stylish ipod and listening to music, you will speed up the process. Also, if you in a postive frame of mind that helps too, because it is very hard to have a good thought while you are angry or upset. A very important thing to remember is to never use negative words when asking for what you want, for example: " I want NO bills in my mail!" The law of attraction doesn't identify any negative words or pharses, so what it recieves is: "I want bills in my mail!" I think you know what will happen next. Other examples of negative words are: stop, none, out, away etc. Important note, how its going to manifest doesn't matter, just know that you will get what you want. When you start wondering how it will manifest that your doubting the law so don't do it. The way you'll know is because, you will get sudden urges to do things, follow these urges it could be the law of attraction working to give you what you want!

To believe that you already have what you want is a perfect way to develop the feelings to how you would actually feel. The law of attraction pays very close attention to feelings as well as thoughts, so to sum it up if you believe that you already have it and feel excited about it, then your stopping delay. Here is an example of what you could say: "I believe that I have my dream car" or "I believe I will have a good day." I mentioned about visualizing in the last paragraph for two reasons: it helps to send a clear picture of what you want and this also, helps to develop those good feelings and believe it is already happening. An importent notice, always speak in the present tense and never the past or furture, your acting like you already have not like its already passed or going to come! Example: "I did have my dream car" or "I am going to have a good day"

Last of all is to receive. To achieve this all you need to do is know that what ever you want is yours and will happen. I'm going to introduce another law called the, law of graditude. This basically means being thanful for what you already have. I use this law instead of using the believing bit because, its more effective for me and I'm speaking like I already have it. So the choice is up to you here. If you want to use it how I do just do this, ask for what you want, example: I want a slim body" then use the law of attraction and graditude together (they work parrell with each other anyway) "I'm so thankful now that I have a slim body." Then I know it will come.

Follow up on being negative; if you are feeling or doom and gloom, then is it extremly important to switch your freqency (feelings). When you are happy, in love, excited or thankful your on the "positive recieving freqencey" however, if your in a bad mood, angry, jealous or depressed then your on the negative recieving freqencey. DANGER, DANGER THIS IS VERY BAD!!! You could ruin your entire day just because, of this. Believe me, I've been there. Little by little things will happen to make you feel worse because, your attracting them. All you need to do is switch frequencies; start smiling for no reason or laughing, go on just do it. You'll notice how much better you feel after a while. What else you could do is listen to music and start dancing or think of a happy thought or do both! Look at the dancing banna he's a good example.

It is very important to remember not to begin to worry, doubt if want you want doesn't happen at first. The most likely reason is because, your doubting your thought or not backing it up with enough postivie feeling (happiness, excitment etc). Just know that what you asked for WILL come.

PS: "The Secret" website isn't trying to force you to buy anything at all, thats only if you want to know what exactly it is or how exactly to use it. I would recommend buying either the book or the audio tape, because its very informative. Although, on that note the wiki-how guide explains how to use it anyway

PSS: For all people that don't believe this I'm going to be harsh and say: You should! Believe it or not you use it 24/7. The law of attraction never stops working, there are not such things as coffee breaks, or short naps for this law -its an on going process...

This theory that mental state is the answer to everything is insulting to people experiencing all types of tragedy. Suffering is not always avoidable, no matter what your perspective is. For example, would you approach a family who just lost someone to a terminal disease and say "Too bad they didn't believe they were going to live, or they would have been fine." Some diseases are just incurable, no matter what your perspective is. I know your trying to be helpful, but this form of optimism is ignorant and unrealistic.

People have cured themselves by believling that they can, you just havn't read any of the stories have you? I'm only a messenger for this amazing power which we all have. However, you could use to prolong but when its your time to go, well your gonna go!

Here is a true story taken from the site.

"My husband attracted health
I bought The Secret CDs in January and loved them. In February, I saw a lump in my husband Peter's thigh. In March, he had an MRI which showed a lipoma with a suspicious center. In April, I gave him my Secret CDs. In early May, he was told he had liposarcoma, the cancer being about the size of a golf ball in the middle. Two weeks later, he was told it was an orange-sized sarcoma inside a large lipoma.

People have died thinking their belief would save them, you haven't read those stories have you?

Ok, so you’re walking down the street, as was said in the article. You see an iPod that you want, and you start thinking of how you want it. Naturally, you are more inclined to then receive it. No, this is not because some “law of attraction” brings back to you a “like thought”. This is simply because you are more likely to buy things that you want than things that you don’t want. For example, if you want a set of pots and pans for your kitchen more than you want the iPod, you’re going to spend your money on the pots and pans. You simply don’t work towards getting things that you don’t want. As far as you visualizing yourself listening to it speeding up the process, yes it does, but only because you start to want to spend your money on it more.

In the movie “The Secret”, a man and his wife clip out a picture of their dream house in their dream location. This house is well beyond their monetary means at the time, but it’s so beautiful that they decide to save the picture, and pin it onto one of those little cork message board things for them to look at, and for it to act as a motivator. After a while, something along the lines of the family getting a new message board and putting the old one in a box in the garage, along with the picture of their dream house - which was still pinned to it - happens. Time goes by, and they naturally forget about the picture of their dream house.

Years later, the family is ready to move into a nicer house, and has saved up enough money to do so. They purchase a great house in a great location, sell their house, and move in. As they are unpacking, they come across the magazine clipping on the old message board, and lo and behold, it’s the house they’ve just moved into! This is just amazing, and so obviously it is due to the laws of attraction. Wrong. This family had an idea of the kind of house they wanted, and where they wanted it. If a house is perfect for a family looking to buy one, and they have the money for it, they’re probably going to buy it. Yes, even if they’ve forgotten about the picture. It’s still the same perfect house, in the same perfect location, and it was purely coincidental that it was still for sale. Nothing amazing about that.

Now think of this. You send out a positive thought wave about your want for a bike, or better yet, your already having a bike, expecting this to bring to you said bike. Wouldn’t this thought wave bounce back off of everything, not just that bike? And wouldn’t the thought wave affect everyone’s brain that it came into contact with?
If not, show me some real scientific evidence refuting my refutations, and not this theoretical and untested pseudo science.

Furthermore, this business about negative words such as no, not, and never inhibiting the law of attraction, this is just a way of “showing” why everyone that simply thinks about what they want doesn’t get it. It’s a pseudo scientific failsafe mechanism.

About your state of mind affecting your day, of course it does! If you walk around looking pissed off all day, people are going to treat you differently than if you looked calm and personable. This has nothing to do with bouncy brainwaves, or magnetic thinking. This should be obvious… really.

Here’s the last thing I’m going to say about all this for now. People dying in floods or earthquakes in India or the Far East think everyday about how they would like to live a full life I’m sure. And yet there is no explanation except for what has come to be so typical of believers in things like these, and that is that “Those types of things are different. There’s no way of stopping an earthquake. It’s going to happen no matter what.” Right, so the law of attraction has a double standard. Things that are harder to attain, like a long and full life, cannot be achieved through “The Secret”, and things like iPods or houses that you were already going to buy can be.

These New Age gurus make all their money exploiting people through “The Secret”, not by merely wishing it so. Think about that for a bit.

Well I could – and probably will – go on for a little while longer about this logic defying “gift/miracle”, but for now it’s time to watch some TV and get some shuteye. Happy dreaming all.

Good point beeya. I used terminal illness as an example but their are countless other examples where this logic is proven worthless. Like starvation, can world hunger be solved if we just told all the people without food to believe themselves some food into their belly's?

Another valid point. Not that I am bashing religion by any means, but this is like giving bibles, not loaves of bread. And really, not even bibles. =/

Well I can't and will not change what you both think, I was only here to explain that something like this does exsist. Its just shame that you havn't noticed it yet, but in time you will, and if you don't thats a shame. As for scientific evidence I'm only a kid so I can't prove you with that, you'll have the email the secret team. But, as for the ipod, what if you didn't have the money for it? You could use the law of attraction to lower the cost. But please anybody else don't get fooled into thinking this doesn't exsist because, it does. If my explainations are not good ignore them and enter the site. PLEASE DO BECAUSE THE LAW OF ATTRACTION DOES EXSIST BELIEVE.

Having confidence in life is healthy and can get you things you want, but its obvious you've crossed over into arrogance, which can end up biting you in the ass. This is not an insult, I'm just warning you for your own good.

Just look how insane some of the stuff in the tutorial is,

"Say you're playing a game of cards. You just keep losing every round. You attracted losing one round and after you lost you feel bad about it. That "feeling bad" will go out to the Universe and will change the card deck..."

Cards are based off statistics and skills, your emotions are not going to magically change the cards around in the deck, anyone with half a brain can see how irrational this is.

BTW, please let us know if you get that A (and if you eschewed studying to get it, because, you know, the law of attraction makes studying unnecessary, and all that jazz).

Anyway, firstly whether you believe it, or not, what Phonix is saying is true. Human matter is nothing more but vibrating energy. Eveytime we think, our mind sends out a pulse, or a "wave". These waves do go on to this so called "universe" and yada yada blah blah Phonix mentioned everything.

Card game. Yes, it is based on statistics, but statistics can change. I don't play a lot of card games myself, but i do believe that most people use this so called "luck" (yeah right, who believes in luck?).

Of course there are no such thing as magic, nor luck (not trying to offend anyone here, so forgive me), but would anyone care to explain how some of the worlds great people came to be? If you had to interview these people (or someone that you know of that got something amazing) The one thing that they will say is "I just said to myself that I'll get it..." The moment they mentioned that, they BELIEVED in it. Once they did that, people would carry out certain actions in their lives (without them knowing) which makes them closer to the event of what they desire.

What I'm trying to say is, people CAN NOT be well known if they start off from nothing e.g. Sir Alan Suger (I think thats how you spell his name, anyone?)

Are you trying to say that soilders died with no cause? Of course they did have a cause, they fought for our freedom etc. But then what about a average human? Well then that is different, however I would surely believe that when a person dies for what the believe in, then they die with no regrets.

Yes it will. Once you asked what you want, you would follow out certain actions that would lead to a certain event, in which you will get what you want. It's innevideable to deny these actions, but humans have a choice whether to accept whats given to them, or not.

Using the "Secret" doesen't make anyone superior. However, if you use it yourself, you WILL have the feeling that you are set free, as if you want to fly (Please don't use the secret to fly, I will not hold any charges against people being injured due to flying failures, but you could Lucid dream it

).

Please do note, Phonix nor I are forcing anyone to use this "secret" You may ignore it completey, and pretend that it never happened. I will not say that you missing out on anything, nor am I saying that your mad.

I used this "Secret" myself, and it has done wonders for me, however, I do get the sense that no one would care to even read my story, but oh well.

Geez that was a bunch of misinterpreted jargon. Alright kiddy's have fun with your 'secret'. Just wondering though, if several people are playing cards and they all are followers of the 'secret', who wins? If you claim to be able to use this 'secret' then why aren't you using it for something useful, theres lots of problems in the world that need solving. You know theres card game tournaments, if you can guaranteed win them or the lottery, then where are your billions of dollars, you could use the money to help make the world a better place. If this is so miraculous of a power why do you waste it on petty selfish things?

wow so many disillusioned and disconnected people here in this dream forum.

maybe in time youll start to notice how your inner world of thoughts, feelings desires and fears is connected to your outer reality.
We are all connected and all of the same energy, many people will never reach that level of awareness and will remain trapped into thinking and feeling what they have been taught to think and feel without ever realizing their divine natures like that guy who said magic doesnt exist.
what a shame to hear that sort of thing on a lucid dreaming website! but its ok, we all have our own paths.
