It is not in the world of forms (of matter) that you can do what new age calls project. There cannot be a physical sensation of something which is not physical. There cannot be a thought of something which is not a thought. But it is more real than this existence, (and yet it is not).

To astral travel you will make great discoveries, it was used to find out things about beyond the atmosphere before space craft came along.

I seem to remember watching a program years ago (though it could've been just to upset the russians) about some american intelligence agency that was set up during some war or other and they got a bunch of people who would sit in a room and were given global co-ordinates and then they'd meditate on it and write down what occured to them and it turned out that they could discribe what was in the area of the co-ordinates quite accurately. If this is possible then you could just concentrate on solidifying the impressions of your surroundings until you are there in whatever form you can manage. Though they may have just been tapping into a human unconcious but you could test it fairly easily.

a freind of mine used to do a lot of astral projecting and thinking back, I remember that she used to say that in order to make it more real, or maybe it was in order to make your astral body more real, she would have to separate from her body slowly and with great awareness - she would say that she could feel herself separating from every cell. She had to stop in the end though as it nearly killed her one time - but don't be put off, I think it was due to other circumstances that I doubt will affect you.
