      Feeling sounds in your body

Has anyone felt a sound in the body at the same time as you hear it?
This often happens to me when I relax or when going to sleep. Any sound, for example, a cardoor slamming or creaking floorboards or any other unexpected sound will give an instant corresponding sensation in my head, my legs, or my back or any other part of my body. The sensations are usually not very strong, mostly like shivers or tickling feelings.
Lately, however, these sensations have actually seemed to cause the same vibrations in my head which I experience in connection with lucid dreaming or OOBE. These vibrations can get quite strong and they are more like a loud buzzing sound in my ears or like "electrical discharges" in my head. Anyone who has had this experience?

In my case it only happens when I am relaxed, and it has been going on for about two years or so. I first found it just a bit strange and would have thought nothing of it if it hadn´t been for the vibrations. It may be some lighter kind of "synesthesia", which is a connection between two different senses, but when looking this up on the web I could find no references to lucid dreaming. Mostly synesthesia seem to be about people seeing colors connected to a certain taste, or a color connected to a certain word and things like that.

Sounds like a form of synaesthesia.

I feel that way when I'm in SP. Except the sounds change, like a small creek would turn into something scary, and then I'd feel it hitting my body.

I have that on all the time.
Whether i listen to music or just everyday sounds i always feel it in my body aswell as hear it. In general im very sensetive to vibrations

I think this might be because im a realy strong Visual Spatial thinker, meaning i think in pictures instead of words.

To find out more about it just google it, it cleared up a lot of questions i had when i had the learning test.
