Okay, I want to know what skills there are out there.
Post them if you:
A: Have a strong conviction that you possess this skill
B: Have an experience that has shown you without a doubt that it exists
Just thinking. I just want to know what kinds of real skills there are out there vs. those crazy comic book ones.
I can see auras. To me, this is a 100% truth. I dont know what it means or if it can be explained scientifically as intuition or whatever... I see colors around people and it relates to their mood and health and thoughts.
I see... things. Events that haven't happened yet, people and animals that shouldn't exist, at least not where they are (mostly cats, or other small creatures, but once I was completely awake, reading, and a humanpoid in a purple robe walked through a closed door in my house. it seemed surprised to notice me, started to raise one hand, but then stopped being there. I went and told my mom about it, and for the next few days, and every so often since, check that I had told someone about it to later prove to myself that i hadn't been asleep.) Also, i occasionally know what others are going to say right before they say it, and have some pretty freaking awful cases of Deja Vu (especially when I remember having deja vu about the situation previously, when the situation was no, in fact, occuring).
I don't hear anything, and I don't seem to have any sort of telekinesis or pirokinesis. I't realy more bothersome than useful.
Cool, very recently I read books about this and did a lot of research on this subject and it can be explained scientifically. Anyway, I started to practice my eyes, and only after a few days I can already see a feignt white smoke-like aura around people! It's awesome. Not only that, but my vision has imrpoved alot. It's like I updated my graphics card. Colors are a lot brighter, everything is sharper, I can look further, and my pheriphal vision has colors and is sharper! It will probably take months before I can fully see auras.. or better yet, see energy, because I think that might be a better way of putting it.Quote:

What do you do to practice for your eyes?
I train my peripheral vision by simply focussing on it, this is the simplest exercise. Try to see with the corner of your eyes, it will improve really quickly, just put your attention on the edges of your field of vision, all the time.. Each time you forget, do reality check :P
Other exercises I do is to train my iris, the colorful part of the eye. The iris is the muscle responsible for making the pupil bigger and smaller, letting more light in the eye. Anway, simply blur and unblur your vision, look deep and closeby, pushing and pulling objects with your eyes, this trains the iris. If you do it too much your eyes will start to hurt :P so be careful.
I do a couple more exercises but I it's too long to explain them all, shortly put one is about rotating your eyes to make them more sensitive to change of light and the other is staring at the primary rainbow colors to make the rods and cones in your eyes more sensitive to subtle colors.
Anyway, the first two exercises will give results really quickly, I can't say much about the other exercises because I only started to practise those recently. Hope this helps! I read this in the book "How to see and read the aura" by Ted Andrews. I would highly recommend this book if you want more information, he also gives a detailed scientifical explanation why it is possible for everyone among us to see auras.

A few times I've been in class, trying my hardest to stay awake, looking at the teacher, only to fall asleep for long enough for my head to droop a little, and then I'd wake up. I don't actually fall asleep when this happens, but my body does just long enough to power down for a split second. I only see it for a few seconds at a time. When I start to question what exactly it is I'm seeing, it goes away.
How intense / for how long can you see it?
Yup it's very similar to me what you describe, I can see it as long as I keep staring , and the deeper I get into meditation the better I can see it (I try to meditate 24/7). This is just the beginning tho I still have a long way to go, but I'm sure my efforts are going to pay off some day... (well they kinda already did :P)
I'm also trying to meditate 24/7, so much good can come from doing so in my life. The appeal to me, is that when being completely in the present, I am fully in control of my direction in life, or at the very least, I know what my direction is, as I am aware of what decisions I am making that add up to be my life.
Reality checks are the best way to stay on course, whenever I find myself in a situation where I have forgotten to be in the present, or am randomly thinking about something that is distracting me from my current situation, I do a few RCs, remind myself what I'm doing now, in my life, and that it is right now that determines where my life takes me. Then I switch my attention back onto whatever I want to be doing at the time, whether it be noticing as much as I can in my peripheral vision, or fully taking in everything around me through each of my senses.
This way, I get a lot of RCs in, as well as do more of what I actually want to be doing. I have just implemented this today, and it has been working very well. Before, I would just get lost in my thoughts for long periods of time, desperately trying to reason my way out of them with more thoughts, but only spiraling deeper into yet more thought.
Wow, thats neat schmaven. I am a christian, and we have this thing about meditating. Its been on my mind on how we could meditate all the time on God. I mean, whats the definition of meditation?

I have very small limited psychic ability, sometimes I see images flash in my minds eye of something that would happen in the future and it did happen. But I am trying so hard to increase it better, but I am having trouble.

how do you program a psiball like what are the steps to programing it like how would you program it to do telepathy or telekinesis if you cant do it alone?
well I think that you need a psiball to do it, because I'm not sure if you can do it alone. I'm no expert at it because I've just started as well, but www.psipog.net is an amazing unbiased site that has a free e-book on it, and articles to help you improve once you've learned the basics. Its very straight-foreward.

Just a little note here I don't have much time to practice my abilities as I am with the US Navy as per caption under my name so I'll just state my findings...
In the past few weeks I believe to have developed an aura/wave of energy. To explain quite simply would be horrifying to try and do so... I'll explain with as much detail as I can though:
Day 1: I have been having vibrations much like what happens when I go into an OBE state or an AP. I realized that when on Watch (The navy term for late night work) I would have a vibration or two and it would be a really bad time. However I couldn't resist it and would end up being in an OBE. This time for sure I used my mind to cast a wave of energy as hard as I could as if I was pushing someone away. IT WORKED!!! However only for a few seconds until my mind felt like it had lost its will and the vibrations induced an OBE.
Day 2: I was dead sure that what I did that night was of my own doing. I tried as hard as I could to make a wave with my mind. This time I failed in doing so and an AP soon followed. Work Still in Progress....
Day 4: I had, had another vibration and this time I wasn't quite ready but I knew what I had to do. I sent out a wave of energy yet again and this time managed to keep the vibrations at bay while on watch for a good hour or two. My will seems to be improving... Development still in progress...
Day 11: I don't know what has been going on in the past few days but I like the fact that I have come up with an ability to rid myself of unwanted or unfamiliar OBE/AP vibrations when they aren't or can't be necessary for reasons that will stay anonymous. I seem to be seeing my waves of energy now only slightly. I did try another technique though: I tried to reverse the wave into protecting me as if I had a shield around me. It didn't work too too well. However this time when trying this new skill my mind seemed to be less drained of what will I had used in developing this new skill.
Day 14 (Final Entry): That shield idea is starting to work. It seems as though by obtaining more knowledge of OBE's/AP's I seem to be working on developing my skills but only so little at one time. I don't mind, it helps to learn to work on them little by little as to not be affected by overuse or misuse. My will now seems to be greatly improved and tempered.
I don't know if anyone will make any use of these but I know for sure that THESE WORK FOR ME... I don't expect these to work for anyone who doesn't atleast try. Practice, It sincerely took me alot of practice to even try to comprehend or make it work. I don't expect anyone to succeed on a first try.
