spiritual hallucination experience
i was wondering if there is a terminology for the recent experience i had:
it happened during the earlier stage of sleep (which is why i mention a "hallucination") and as i sat in darkness i felt the most realistic arms around my neck from a figure behind me. i felt the full weight of the person and they seemed to be there to comfort me. they did not speak, and at first i felt paralysed and almost panicked for a moment, but i quickly overcame my initial shock and began to slowly & curiously run my hands down this unknown arm that was draped over my shoulders, hoping that I would touch a female hand. as i approached her long fingernails with great delight the experience came to an end.
i could feel a great scope of detail, and for a moment i did wonder whether or not i was in a light sleep and somebody was honestly behind me, holding - but obviously this is not logical because i was lying down with my head on a pillow.
it was an euphoric and an emotional ordeal that has filled me with great joy, but equally it has highlighted my yearning and (non-sexual) desire for close female attention that i am in desperate need of, which makes me sad.
